Hearing Yellow on the radio. I initally thought the song was horrible, and the clip worse. But because it was so overplayed, it grew on me. I kinda forgot about it over time, never bought parachutes. Then I heard Clocks when AROBTTH came along. So one day, I bought the album, and was hooked. It was then (about 2 1/2 years ago now) that I got into drumming because of Will's work on AROBTTH and Parachutes, which I had by then given way more listeneing time. Now I play along to Parachutes and AROBTTH every arvo (takes about 3 hours) with Mr. iPod in my ears. Best three albums ever, followed closly by the three Muse studio albums, Showbiz, Origin Of Symettry and Absolution. :cool:

They are awesome pictures! Look at the angle on his snare, I had no idea it was that much! Or maybe he changed it for this album? Anyway, totally cool. :cool:

Has anyone heard anything of the new album. I got a few low quality tracks from microcuts.net, but nothing really detailed. Anyone see them on the Campus Invasion Tour? Or is that what you guys are talking about above?

^^^^ Heheheh :P Yeah, more tracks like Don't Panic and Parachutes. I can still look out the window and see a beautiful moon rise or sunset and suddenly Don't Panic starts fading in with the opening guitar riff.. "Bones sinking like stones..." :smug:

Parachutes and AROBTTH will never be bettered(<?). I've listened to X&Y a lot and I was just as ready to bag out the lyrics as anyone else, but now they have grown on me, especially 'Swallowed By The Sea'. I thought they sounded really forced and just lots of rhyming words, but now I love it. Genius.

I haven't heard anything of Will having kida, and I wouldn;t know about Guy. I know Will is married to a teacher I think, late last year.

Dam you for seeing Muse live. I am a huge fan of SOAD, yet I haven't heard anything off Mesmerize. I have SOAD and Toxicity, and both are sick.

I have found that playing Drums is far easier than Piano, and I can play every Coldplay song on them. It doesn't sound very logical, but for some reason, I can't play two things with my hands on Piano, but can on Drums, totally stupid. Stupid brain, stupid coordination. :confused:

Cool. Now I wish I could read Piano music, I can only read drum music. :cry:

I don't know what software you would use to get it directly, but I cheated when I did a similar thing. I got a double ended male 3.5mm cable and plugged my output into my mic or input and then used Soundforge to record what was playing. You can't hear what you are getting, but you can tart it up with soundforge later.

Parachutes Lyrics = Raw, emotional. AROBTTH Lyrics = Refined, beautiful, emotional, tear jerking X&Y Lyrics = Advanced, hard to comprehend meaning, flowing X&Y cannot be compared to AROBTTH, they are different albums and nothing will EVER 'beat' AROBTTH lyrics, because they were exceptional IMHO. My 2 cents.

Pretty cool how everyone hears Speed Of Sound. Then gets X&Y and thinks "this is cool!", so they go out and get the others. I assume thats how it goes anyways :confused:

Yeah, I don't really have a problem travelling a short plane flight to see them. It's just that I hope I can get tickets for a one of the gigs in Sydney or Melbourne :/
