So what if we were made to eat meat. We were also made to walk around nude and carry as many children as possible and live up to the age of thirty and to be straight. It's not like we're still doing all that. A human being doesn't need meat anymore to survive. We in the Western spoiled rich world can easily go without meat. There's so many other things, meat replacers, or just a well-balanced diet, that we don't need it anymore.

same for me. i get really mad when i go a day without some kind of meat. i eat meat for almost every meal, even breakfast if i can. That's really difficult to imagine for me. I've gone without meat for about 1 and 3/4 year now, and I really don't miss it. Eventually, when you become a vegetarian or a vegan, you will lose the need and taste for meat. The idea of eating meat kind of disgusts me now.
