Ghost Story
Haha, country? lol, I sort of know your meaning:0 isn't country native to US, maybe that's why they take it to Target release - kidding. But country doesn't do falsetto much, right :)

"O" is gonna be my favorite track!
Nice description, I feel the very SAME:)

"O" is gonna be my favorite track!
"I wanna live life, never be cruel, I wanna live life, be good to you. I wanna fly, never come down, Live my life, have friends around." Fly On... the more I listen, the more I feel connected with that "I wanna fly, never come down"; when sometimes, it is too heavy, falling down, wings broken, still gether the strength to fly on...the opening piano part is really like some classical music...a self-encouraging statement of Chris:"Let's all fly on, till home, to home, from all the sorrows or regrets or pains...cause that's the innate power of your soul" - also a reminder of the opening part of Sigur Rós's Sæglópur and Flying images of Glósóli MV.

Where did the hidden track go ?
I really love how Life is for Living was "hidden" and there is such a uplifting effect/closure after going through the whole album. The very moment you met the song, like a line imprinted in your soul, as it is so connected, heartfelt, beautiful and resonating...and such feelings never grow old or obscure, as clear/real as the very first day; as if there is a time/space never changed... Is there a title for this hidden track?

True Love
Gravity and Hallellujah? That's nice~ can't listen to the album soon, but good to expect as such...

You're amazing and i need to improve a bit
I think it is him being honest and spiritually aware of making "changes/progresses". There is a wisdom saying "there is nobody out there but ourselves in the relationship" - to go inwardly contemplating is much better than go outwardly complaining. I also read somewhere that O might be an inspiration from The Missing Piece Meets the big O by Shel Silverstein: http://www.tudou.com/programs/view/UYft4HmJxYA - a very nice illustration on how we can grow towards maturation and "fulfillment".

True Love
lol, interesting~ you are in Missouri? I was once in Kansas City MO, where we listened to Co.'s album during an evening drive around X'mas ~ quite a "beautiful" experience. Nice places...

True Love
lol, then you may just enjoy or imagine~ for falsetto, there might be a magic thing: if you can imagine [not to think of hitting the higher note, but try to be in the same wavelength of what the song tries to express...], then you can probably sing - which you just don't know or haven't tried before.

Always In My Head
I see, thanks!

Make your own Origami star [according to Target video]

Always In My Head
Anyone noticed that in the official written lyrics [PDF & Coldplay.com webpage: http://www.coldplay.com/newsdetail.php?id=1531] of this song, there are two small figures aside: one is like a ghost but with "under 1 roof" within; the other is a heart with ? I can't figure out the writing? could be sth. more revealing ?

^ nice one, yours almost looks like a "paper windmill" *V*

Analysis of "Fix You"
^ yeah...just a way to explore and understand things...not a dogma or stereotyping.

Analysis of "Fix You"
Astrology might not be directly related to your post, however, some of the writings do reflect a "general tendency" of a typical Virgo Rising [Pisces DC conjunct sun as well indicated by his natal chart]...On the other hand, I would like to keep it as a music-listening experience [i think the energy of Coldplay's music/"deeds" have connected with many and it is one kind of the best by my knowledge/experience - if put it in astrology, I think it is Neptune] rather than sth. else on a public music-oritented forum [in Zane Lowe's interview, it seems the "intro/retrospections" have begun to "drive" him to search...]. If there is anything "personal", I wish him a spiritual growth beyond "personality level"; to some extent, beyond astrological configurations as well. It is an interesting topic, as Co.'s music "communicates" in a rich emotional/psychological [or spiritual, depends on the individual for sure] way.

Win origami star from Coldplay via target
^ if you look it up via google, there are many ways of making different "styles". The one I knew as a kid is to take a slim slice of paper [a bit harder texture], making a natural knot [leaving one side longer], then put the "long tail" around each angle. Finally, you can make it a 3D five-angle star:) I am sure you can find it online~ :) similar to this: http://wallpirate.com/live-wallpaper-origami-star-for-free-mac/

"O" is gonna be my favorite track!
^LPxDBZ really agree - almost heard the choking as well; the behind energy [as he put, quite "colorful" - when so much is swirling together, words are somehow powerless to catch all that you feel; but sometimes, music can] of him talking about O is quite "present" - It is definitely one of the hardest processes to go through. The piano sound sounds like the raindrops falling down on the surface of the lake, or the effects of shimmering light when your eyes are full of tears, heart aching. The GS album is a gift/valuable memory to Chris personally, especially with the kids' part - indicating hope/support from the "innocence". I think he means to embrace everything in life and appreciate the painful/broken part as they are part of a full circle O too.

Oceans
some scattered points: the color of Chris' T-shirt is really a kind of Ocean Blue...; the vocal sound is really good, and it probably takes more efforts to keep in that level of quality as well as for some other GS songs, more challenging - so, real progess from Chris - but for live performance of the coming tour, we can foresee the band would stand/sit more than "being high 5 active" in the past~; some moments, really feel like a voice from an enclosed, deep, and dark corner of the ocean, hence, alone - just wish the hundreds of losts in recent sea accidents [MH370 and Korean Ship] may leave in peace - besides the beauty part, to a human being, the ocean may represent fears and desparation in some cases; Coldplay songs tend to have lifting hopes/tunes at the end always, no matter how it is hard/hopeless, the whole atmosphere of GS seems a lingering/hesistant - don't know whether these is a parallel line between the real life and song writings, although it sounds depressing in one song, hopefully O brings more wisdoms and meanings as a closure; reminds me of certain old B-sides, but with less emotional out-pouring, more restraints with introspections; have to say, there could be a better Album Title than GS given all the song titles and the whole atmosphere. Supposed to be a more studio oriented album.

A Sky Full Of Stars!! (Out now - See first post)
I dreamed of an owl standing on the branch out of my window recently, and I didn't even see a real one in my life...so it is "magic" to see this picture...whether it is the cover art or not~ really look forward to the song~

MAGIC VIDEO (Videos in first post)
Some related info. from an interview of Ziyi Zhang [actress in the MV]: 1. Reason to play in the MV: invited by Chris + love Co. songs + previous collaboration with Jonas Åkerlund, the director; "side note": why didn't she ask Co. to come to China as part of the tour as "an idea"? Maybe she did already, as her soon-to-be-husband b/f, Feng Wang, is a famous singer, with some beautiful songs as well~ 2. Almost the same as shooting a film/micro film, unusual resources/budget for a MV but very professional; A longer, colorful one to show later; 3. Chris looks younger and always says "Thank you". personality split, or just for fun? or is love a kind of magic hard to decode or understand, but practise till a "rocket launching" level? feel a bit weird but sort of an authentic scenary of old 1920 -1930 Jazz days...as if a Chaplin presenting?

See what Country song was #1 on the day you were born
Interesting site...yes, the number seems denoting a magic connection, always.

Chris and Gwyneth announced their separation
May they have enough private time to go through this process, as it would be difficult to live in the publicity by trying so hard for one side and holding back so much for the other. But again, it seems there have been psychological preparations for such moments, which might make the transition easier. The kids are actually the most vulnerable to take care for the coming years; I think they will provide whatever they can to reduce any negative influences. In the long run, maybe it is a good turning point [a different way to relate to each other this life or change back when they are older; this is actually not that devastating comparing to other cases] for both of them not even to say how much they've given to/shared with each other all these years. Chris probably need more efforts to keep inner peace and stablility...may spiritual power supports him along the way~ meditation would be helpful. Relationship may die or end, love not, ever.

"O" is gonna be my favorite track!
could be...doesn't Noel's another song "Let the Lord Shed A Light on Me" also sound spiritual; maybe the holy bird coveys important messages via Magic:). Another song with similar embedded meanings is Birds of Paradise from 60', which is for me, definitely has strong spiritual powers~ Travis' Sing has also birds' singing *0*

Chris Martin will be a Key Advisor on the US Voice this season (31 March/1 April/7 April)
It seems like a worldwide trend hehe...I think it could be an interesting thing to watch, as Chris has a talkative side with some whits/humors, which may add a good flavor into the judge group? If Co. will have a "70s' Show" style documentary in the future, that could be a super-laughing-make stuff :P, good for the fans, the company, and all; that would be epic! I think I am not the only one to have such an idea popping up...where is the director *6*
