Gravity is way better than What If, because it's simpler. And the moment when the drums enter may be the most beautiful moment in Coldplay. In every other universe, this would've made X&Y, but for whatever reason not this universe. ;)

Quick question for everyone: do you think the tracks Ken Nelson produced (White Shadows, Fix You, Twisted Logic, Till Kingdom Come, Proof, The World Turned Upside Down, Sleeping Sun, Gravity) or those produced by Danton Supple (rest of the album and b-sides) sound better production-wise?

Um Swallowed in the Sea is a fantastic song even though its lyrics are a bit naff. Chris puts so much emotion when he sings "OH WHAT GOOD IS IT TO LIVE WITH NOTHING LEFT TO GIVE FORGET BUT NOT FORGIVE NOT LOVING ALL YOU SEEE?" C'mon people. Definitely top 10 . ;)

The thing with these kind of vague claims is that anyone can make them up. While they may be accurate, would you believe me if I said that it sounded like a cross between True Love and POC? I don't believe any claims like this until we have more evidence.

Do you mean that you want people to vote for one of the songs you listed? Well since it's a double elimination it might be a bit trickier because of the fact that, in order to completely save Fix You, you'd have to elevate both Proof and one of those songs to 4 votes.

And to think that nowadays they just release 3 b-sides per era when they could be using these excellent unreleased songs as b-sides!! And it's not like they ever save songs for the next album either. Hope for a Coldplay Anthology one of these days!! :)

Parachutes. As amazing as it is, it doesn't exactly match any of the other albums on the list, partially because the band is still trying to develop. But it still is an amazing album!
