So this marks the beginning of the elimination of Coldplay's 4th album, the mouthful of a title Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends (or at least that's how fans refer to it, the rest of the world calls it Viva la Vida :P). It marks their first stylistic change, when the band ditched their guitar-based sound for a variety of influences, to create what is often called one of their best albums. But which of these amazing songs is the best? It's time to find out!! I hate to squander something as precious as a vote, but I think I'll go with Postcards from Far Away.

The acoustic songs on MX are really underrated. You've got Us Against the World, U.F.O., Up in Flames, and Up with the Birds ( the 4 "u" songs!!), all beautiful songs, and highlights for me on the album. Especially Up in Flames. Criminally underrated among Coldplayers. Can't help but wonder what the acoustic LP5 would've sounded like!

I used to hate UATW because I found its production to be too heavy and dense for a song that's supposed to be acoustic. But however, if you ignore the huge mess of instruments and actually listen to the song, you'll find that it's actually quite beautiful. ;)

Imo there's nothing wrong with Embrace's version, but Coldplay's just blows it out of the water. And Gravity is the weakest track on Out of Nothing anyway, listen to Ashes or Keeping or the title track if you want to hear the what Embrace can truly write and perform. ;)

I think it is!! Odd, cause I thought that b-sides like I Ran Away would've gotten a lot farther.

Both are lame names tbh....but I'd go with Starfish because it sounds slightly cooler. A Whisper vs Green Eyes?

Wow, it seems people are throwing around all sorts of artists as inspiration. Depeche Mode? a-Ha? Probably. Revolver-era Beatles, especially the psychedelic masterpiece, Tomorrow Never Knows? Uhh....probably not.... :P (though if that were true that'd be AMAZING!! I mean, seriously. ;) )
