So it looks like we have Twisted Logic and X&Y tied for second, and as much as it pains me to say this, one of them must go. The next person to vote for either (only if you haven't already voted) will determine which goes out.... And where'd everyone go? Much fewer votes this round!!

In all honesty I could go on a ten page rant about how awful ASFOS is. But I'll spare you the time, it's just too EDM for me, and sounds like a desperate attempt to go mainstream. It's everything everyone feared Princess of China would lead to. In addition, it sounds really out of place on a gloomy, introspective album, especially when it is followed by the massive tear-jerker O. And I know we won't be getting a second GS. I'm simply afraid that AHFOD will follow the template that ASFOS has laid out: dancey, mainstream songs that make Coldplay sound like David Guetta rather than the true musical geniuses we know them to be. :)

As a huge Embrace fan, I happen to like their version of Gravity, especially since I heard it first without knowing it was a Coldplay song. However, Gravity was the weakest track on Embrace's album Out of Nothing, and Coldplay of course does their songs better. :P Gravity doesn't really sound like Embrace tbh.

Why I'm trying no to be too hyped: When I first listened to Midnight, I was blown away. Fuck, it was incredible. The atmospherics, texture, production, the new direction, everything was perfect about that song. It was exactly what Coldplay needed to do: something experimental. I even fooled myself into thinking that their next album would be their version of Kid A. Then, Magic came out. I was so fucking underwhelmed by this poppy, RNB track. Sure, it was alright, and pretty catchy, but after a few listens it just became kinda dull. I still like the track to some extent, and I could have tolerated a whole album of that, but I wouldn't have liked it very much. Then people began hyping the next single, ASFOS. People were saying "it's the new Viva la Vida!!" "it's a lot like DLIBYH!!". Then I actually heard the shit excuse for a song and almost gave up on Coldplay right then and there. I can't help but feel excited and optimistic, but I think we may end up being disappointed.

It's time to eliminate X&Y! One of the more polarizing albums, some see it as a perfect follow-up to AROBTTH, while others see it as bloated and self-indulgent. Personally, this is my favorite era of Coldplay, so I don't exactly have a least favorite, but I'll go with Low. Even though it has that spoon solo. ;)

Ok so it's basically been another day since when the round should have ended. It seems that since nobody else is gonna vote, it's down to only options 1, 2, and 3. Option 1 seems kinda skewed toward one song, so I might just go with option 3 if that's ok with everyone. Argh, I can't help but think that I would have been able to resolve this had I just chosen a song at the beginning. Oh well. And I'll make sure that this won't be repeated in the grand final elimination because that time I'll actually vote!! ;) So is option 3 alright?

How about this: let's take a vote and see how people would want to break the tie: 1. Use cumulative votes as a tiebreaker (that's counting up every single vote placed for that song throughout the entire game). 2. Force me to change my vote. 3. Declare both Politik and AROBTTH to be winners (though this may cause a problem in the grand final elimination if these turn out to be the top 2 in that one as well haha) 4. Flip a coin. 5. The old tiebreaking system of "the next person to vote, even if you've already voted, will decide which is eliminated" 6. Wait for another user to vote.
