So feel free to fill the thread with all the post you like!! :) And where are @I Ran Away and @cp3176? They wouldn't be happy to see this round's results. :P In this round.....oooh this is really tricky...I think I'll cast my vote for Chinese Sleep Chant, even though I love it because of its heavy riffs and ghostly vocals. Coldplay doing MBV!! ;)
 2. It looks pretty fake to me. The "Parlophone" label is used on Discogs for only releases labeled as "Parlophone" but were not actually released by the real label.
 3. Songs with non-appearing titles (not counting instrumentals): Don't Panic Parachutes I Bloom Blaum The Scientist Amsterdam 1.36 X&Y Twisted Logic The World Turned Upside Down 42 Lovers in Japan Chinese Sleep Chant Viva la Vida Life in Technicolor II Prospekt's March Charlie Brown Major Minus U.F.O. Princess of China Atlas Help me out with the GS ones because I never bothered to learn the lyrics of those songs. Not a bad number! Note that 3 of them were big hits that people probably know the names of anyway. A song doesn't need the title in the lyrics, just think Baba O'Riley, Tomorrow Never Knows, etc.
 4.

The Escapist 8

Viva la Vida 7

Prospekt's March/Poppyfields 3

Life in Technicolor 1

Life in Technicolor II 1

By a hair's length The Escapist is eliminated!! That really was a close one!! And in the end we lie awake and we dream of making our elimination: Life in Technicolor Cemeteries of London 42 Lovers in Japan Chinese Sleep Chant Viva la Vida Violet Hill Strawberry Swing Death and All His Friends Life in Technicolor II Glass of Water Prospekt's March/Poppyfields You guys are really jumping the gun here, thinking about MX already!! :P Regarding the short instrumentals, it's really whatever you guys want. Honestly I'd just group them with their parent tracks, but if people want them separated then that's fine too! I am certain that it will go out this round. VLV!!! :D
 5. Lost! Arcade Fire made into a pop song (but the result is not that bad).
 6. Funny thing is that Tomorrow is the name of an unreleased and unheard song that apparently dates back to the MX days. It was also recorded for GS and appears on an early tracklist that also includes Atlas and another unreleased song The Race. I guess it's possible that Tomorrow is the same song as Amazing Day, but we've had no confirmation of that!!
 7. Ha ha, looks like you're right! Thanks for catching that! I've fixed it in my original post. :)
 8. What have you got against slow songs? Especially slow songs as beautiful as Prospekt's March? :(
 9.

Rainy Day 10

Viva la Vida 5

The Escapist 3

Prospekt's March 1

Most unfortunately and scandalously, Rainy Day is eliminated. :( The deeper that the knife goes in, the more you win. You end up with less than when you begin!! My house: Life in Technicolor Cemeteries of London 42 Lovers in Japan Chinese Sleep Chant Viva la Vida Violet Hill Strawberry Swing Death and All His Friends The Escapist Life in Technicolor II Glass of Water Prospekt's March/Poppyfields Fuck why did people eliminate such an amazing song, even if to save Viva la Vida? While VLV is a great song, it is still the weakest of the songs left. So I encourage everyone to vote for VLV!! :P
 10. Up with the Birds. How on earth did all the other MX singles go before the song that wasn't even a proper single? *shakes head*
 11. School is the title of the piano ballad part of DAAHF. It was originally conceived as a separate song before being recorded as the intro to Rainy Day (the two of them together is known as "Rainy Day School"). Then it was re-edited to the beginning of Death and All His Friends after the band decided that it worked better with DAAHF. Rainy Day had the verses we know today added on later.
 12.

Lost! 9

Viva la Vida 5

Rainy Day 2

The Escapist 2

Prospekt's March/Poppyfields 1

Lost! just got lost!! :P Every gun we ever held: Life in Technicolor Cemeteries of London 42 Lovers in Japan Chinese Sleep Chant Viva la Vida Violet Hill Strawberry Swing Death and All His Friends The Escapist Life in Technicolor II Glass of Water Rainy Day Prospekt's March/Poppyfields Finally, Lost! is out!! Now, I cast my vote for....(drum roll please)....Viva la Vida. :P
 13. FUN FACT: The reason why Rainy Day sounds a bit schizophrenic at times is because the song recorded in two parts. It was first recorded as the chorus with School as the intro, but when School was appended onto DAAHF, they edited School out of the recording and recorded new verses. Btw, imo Rainy Day is one of those hidden gems in Coldplay's catalog, proves that they can do more than write pop songs. ;)
 14. What about "Glorious Day"? Granted that's already the name of an Embrace song, but it'd work a lot better.
 15. Imo School works a lot better with Death and All His Friends. But Rainy Day School is still a great song! I remember once finding on Youtube an edit someone had made with DAAHF and Rainy Day to create a a vocal version of Rainy Day School, it was pretty good!
 16. I actually prefer Rainy Day and 42 to both Lost and VLV.:P
 17. I use Firefox and I can see your sig just fine! :)
 18.

Yes 8

Lost! 5

Viva la Vida 4

Prospekt's March/Poppyfields 1

Life in Technicolor 1

So up they picked Yes by the big toe, it was held from the rooftops until they let go.... :( What still remains: Life in Technicolor Cemeteries of London Lost! 42 Lovers in Japan Chinese Sleep Chant Viva la Vida Violet Hill Strawberry Swing Death and All His Friends The Escapist Life in Technicolor II Glass of Water Rainy Day Prospekt's March/Poppyfields Night makes a fool of us in daylight....how did such a brilliant song get eliminated so early? Whatever, everyone hop on the Lost train! ;)
 19. Ha ha, I did say something like that, but it's not like I prefer that people use strategies, it's just simply interesting to watch how people use strategies. Personally I don't endorse nor object to the use of strategies. ;) I don't see any problem with using these strategies, and there's nothing wrong with not using strategies either.
 20. I hope that if Coldplay incorporates more Indian influences it'll sound like Yes. ;)
 21.

Reign of Love 6

Lost! 5

Viva la Vida 4

Prospekt's March/Poppyfields 3

The Escapist 1

Most unfortunately, Reign of Love is eliminated. WTF people. :( This heavy load: Life in Technicolor Cemeteries of London Lost! 42 Lovers in Japan Yes Chinese Sleep Chant Viva la Vida Violet Hill Strawberry Swing Death and All His Friends The Escapist Life in Technicolor II Glass of Water Rainy Day Prospekt's March/Poppyfields Seriously, the fact that Reign of Love was eliminated so early on makes me wonder about the sanity of this forum. :P Joking. I vote for Lost! again.
 22. That's what she said. ;)
 23. N.B. there will only be single eliminations from now on.
 24. Everyone's arousing day will be when the lead single is released. ;)
 25. Funny that you just voted for a song that's just as beautiful, if not more so. :P
