I did the paperclip thing and it worked. But today I was so shocked as it was flashing (non-stop) when I entered my room!! Had to use the paperclip to turn it off but it still flashes once from time to time :S

Hahha how cool! Can't wait to go home and try to bring mine back to life! Thanks for the tip ;) The clocks' batteries inside it are supposed to make it work for about 2 hours... after that we'd have to replace them, but don't know if we would be able to close it properly again
