  1. + Hymn For The Weekend 2 points All your friends 10 points Up in flames 6 points - The fall of man (demo) 8 Til Kingdom come 3 Colour spectrum 6
  2. I enjoy the song when I don't pay attention to what Chris is singing. It's easy for me to just listen to his voice as English isn't my mother tongue. I think his voice is used as an instrument and Jonny do great backing vocals. I think I prefer to listen to an instrumental version because the rest of the band did a good job in this song.
  3. This is one of my favorite interviews https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhhxDmPZ0dc Mobile Link: https://youtu.be/HhhxDmPZ0dc
  4. That's right. The lyrics are great. And I don't hate the song, it's just one of those songs I rarely listen to. The main reason is Chris' voice. I like how he changed the tone in Yes and Chinese Sleep Chant, or his high pitch on Easy to Please.
  5. I've just read this article in the Wikicoldplay. I thought this deserved to be shared here http://wikicoldplay.com/Home/ode-to-deodorant/
  6. I hope oldplayers don't come over here to say our taste in music is rubbish lol :gossip: It feels like something is missing. And it's very forgettable. I'll add to the list A Spell A Rebel Yell. I can't even listen to it.
  7. That's one of my least favorite songs. I like the rhythm and music, but the way Chris sings on it is boring IMO. And I can't talk about the lyrics because I can't even remember them lol. By the way, I had to listen to it to understand what you're talking about lol
  8. Of course. Plus the stage where the band was wondering about the future is left in the past as they have grown up. Now, they just want to enjoy their present. Well, that's my guess.
  9. Sounds great!
  10. That's great and as the interviewer said "worry less". That’s what I love off this era. The songs might not give something new to what have been done in the music world but what is behind is something powerful. The band is sharing the way they see the world and how we can live it when we see it in a more positive way. It's like we should learn from the mistakes, treasure the great memories we've lived and "see each sunrise as a gift"
  11. Thanks for keeping the name "ultimate Coldplaying thread" it feels more appropriate. And to celebrate the Coldplay Love I'll share this
  12. What do you think about this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlVSGDLExq0
  13. lol I didn't know the meaning of that word so I had to look for it. So, thank you, I guess lol :laugh4:
  14. It's not the only recurrent topic, the Oracle have mentioned some others: If you listen to all of Coldplay’s tracks you will often see running and recurring themes: spider webs, bubbles and ladders to the sun to name a few. http://wikicoldplay.com/Home/now-my-feet-wont-touch-the-ground/
  15. Great video! I think it's one of their best videos because of the simplicity and creativeness behind it. It has part of the idea of the kaleidoscope which is good. And the whole band is part of it!
  16. @I ran away is right. In terms of those all copycats I prefer the title of this one http://coldplaying.com/forum/index.php?threads/the-ultimate-coldplaying-thread-s-bs-br-p-arobtth-x-y-vlv-mx-gs-ahfod.105325/ it feels more appropriate. Anyways, the next video is one of my favorite performances they've done in Later with Jools Hollands. Maybe because each member sounds great, especially Guy did a great job, the bass and his backing vocals sounds really good
  17. Me too! They surprised me with this performance. It was gorgeous and much better than the apes!

Exactly, it doesn't matter how many lies we try to say, the truth will be always known.

Great ones! I liked the most the first one. It's something I believe in
  20. I want to share one of my favorite performances of ASFOS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bIHDRVXPOFk
  21. I like this quote ;) thanks @Spider-Man for this thread
