1. All of you have awesome entries and I don't see any chance of winning but I want to share my edit. It's a short story and I used the photos I took on April 15 & 16 on the Coldplay concerts. My photography skills on concerts are very bad (because I keep jumping) but hopefully they'll help me to say the story.
2. There are lots of things I don't understand and time zones are one of those. So, I'll just wait for the date and time to be said. As long as it is on a Saturday I won't have any problem to join you. If it's on another day, I'll try to fit it in my schedule.
3. I have a doubt, will the pre-sale start at 10 am local time? I want to make sure at what time I should be ready to enter the website
4. You definitely have to set your Clocks this time :P we'd love to know your thoughts about these songs.
5. @anacaren08 I know that feeling, even in school is difficult when someone asks that question. But, now that you have some experience in the kind of questions they might asked you can use that to get ready for the interviews. @I ran away yes, that's the scholarship I told you about some months ago. Of course I won't give up! In fact I'm more motivated because now I know what it's about. I've tried to think of possible answers and above all I've worked on my confidence. I'm a very shy and nervous girl but I'm aware that I can achieve whatever I want. So, @anacaren08 everything's not lost. And as you said Up&Up can help us to find the motivation and confidence we need to "keep moving forward"
6. I thought this was a new thread I didn't know this existed haha. Anyways, I'm really bad at sports. Once I tried playing soccer and somehow I always played the front center (I don't know how this position is called) but never managed to score a goal (not that I recall :braces:) I used to watch soccer matches but I lost interest because my favorite team hasn't played well in the last years. I think I'm better at playing chest (if this counts as sport) I don't know any strategy movements but I can defend myself
7. I'm sorry you're going through this. Perhaps this isn't the right thread to post this, but who cares I'll give you my advice. I haven't gone through job interviews but I did apply for a scholarship interview, which I failed, and from which I learned as well. As I'll try next year for the scholarship what I'll suggest you is to be confident with what you know. Don't try to impress with things you think you might know but you don't feel confident enough. Be creative with your answers. There are lots of people who wants the same job and you should give something different to what the rest have in mind. Don't be that nervous. It’s natural to feel that way, use that feeling to help you achieve what you want. It might not make sense at all but don't let your emotions control you. Focus on your goals and once the interview is over you can go back and reflect what you've done and be nervous if you want. Believe me, I've faced that before and once something is over I start to feel nervous and shaky lol. Hope that made sense and that I helped you a little bit, I wish you the best :)
8. Adventure of A lifetime on 2017 for European and North American fans
9. Great! Thanks @I ran away for the link! I hope most of us join the listening party this time, specially @Stephen who has said he wants to join us but always misses the date :P
10. I forgot to add my thoughts here. I hate this kind of series but this time I loved it! This series really caught my attention. The kids were my favorite during the whole season. Can't wait for season 2. And I'm not watching the teaser, I want it to be completely new for me.
11. Well, the Internet service was fixed so fast, I thought it'd take longer. So, I'm back and I'm ready to spend some time to read all your posts because after two days of not reading anything there must be a lot to get through.
12. Double post because of bad mobile data :p And to take advantage of this post I want to say Coldplayers are the best!!!!!! Have a wonderful weekend!!!!!!!
13. OMG! If this is true it isn't funny Edit: this post refers to that guy selling his tickets
14. No Internet connection during the weekend and I'll miss a lot of of your posts here. Anyways, I'll listen to Coldplay during the whole week and I'll dream about the opportunity to go to Canada to see the band for the third time. I've signed up to the newsletter registering the US as my country and I've got a code. 2017 should be a better year for me! This is so exciting! I'll just be sad for not going to Europe to meet some of you but I hope that'll happen in the near future :)
15. So true! I won't have any Internet connection this weekend and I think it's a great moment to listen to Coldplay's discography from the beginning to AHFOD in order. The evolution of Coldplay is interesting because it reflects also their evolution as humans. Perhaps some of us can relate to them or at least I can do that when they sing about their fears and hopes.
16. It looks like you're getting ready for the listening party, aren't you?
17. Thanks for reliving this thread! I've seen a lot of comments which I disagree with and all I know is that Coldplay hasn't disappointed me since I started listening to them
18. Today I decided to take a taxi to go to school because it was getting late :P The taxi driver played some nice songs, but just half a minute before I get off the taxi I heard the first strings of a well-known song. It was Yellow and I couldn't believe I was listening to it and of course I didn't wanted to get off the taxi. It was a little bit louder than the previous songs and he turn down the volume a little bit. Inside of me I was thinking turn up the volume! I tried to stayed in the car as long as possible but I was in front of the school :laugh2: It was a really good start
19. If you check the links of previous years you'll see some send a card with a little gift like chocolates, souvenirs from their countries and some other lovely things :)
20. The song that express my fears and the video where the band is beyond this world We Never Change
21. After watching the tweet about Coldplay supporting The White Helmets and the documentary about their job, I've realised I'm lucky that my only concern is not getting tickets to see the band in Europe.
22. This is fantastic! I didn't know this video existed, thanks for sharing it!
23. "Guilty of nothing but geography" This line is making me sad today because I thought I'd be able to go to Europe for a concert but either expensive flights, date of the concert or school don't let me go. Anyways, I'll be waiting for the next leg to be announced, hopefully I'll go to one of those :)
