  6. So I found this clip of Stephen Fry on this show in which he hums Viva la Vida which I thought was pretty funny, later on in the show (at about 6:45) they tell a Coldplay joke which I don't get, could someone explain it? 8. Still weird though, what does Satriani have to do with one hit wonders or giving up? The comment seems out of context.
  9. and they were all yellow... :)
  10. I have to say, my favorite piece of acting in this came from Slughorn. He looks nothing like what I imagined in the books so I was ready to by dissappointed by him, but Jim Broadbent really pulled off the character.
  11. Yep, glad I wasn't the only one who thought that.
  12. I hated Order of the Pheonix so I was a bit skeptical going in to see Half Blood Prince. Having seen it though, I'm actually very happy with this film. The acting is great, everyone seems much more natural and you don't just see the actors 'acting.' Also, the story isn't told through exposition, instead you actually see events happening which really makes a difference and contributes to the improvement from the Order of the Pheonix. This is also why Tnspieler may have missed the explanation of Dumbledores hand because he doesn't spell it out, but you can definately work out what happened in the scene where he and Harry have finally seen Slughorns complete memory and talk about Horcruxes. My only dissapointment was bits of the ending, I agree with Tnspieler in that the tower scene could have been much more intense if they had stuck more to the book. I also wish they had kept the end battle. Overall, I think Half Blood Prince is a much more intelligent film than the others have been. The dialogue isn't dumbed down, you can actually observe the relationships develop, and there's a lot of set up for the HP7. Knowing the ending of the series definately influenced the filmakers in a good way.
  13. I actually like this article. It's sort what Chris has already said, when you're being sued you've got to try harder and the next thing you do better be brilliant and better than you last, especially if you don't want to be remembered as the guy who stole that song.
  14. Ok, keepvid works. Thanks
  15. Can you still rip audio from youtube since the update? I don't think those websites like listentoyoutube will do it anymore.
  16. How can someone be so unproffesional as to publicly write something like that about an interview that just took place, or is about to take place. Completely off topic, Iriden where did the picture on your avatar come from?

Radiohead is a great band, but it’s truly annoying that every time someone voices criticism for the band, the conversation turns into an argument about who is the better artist; Radiohead or Coldplay. How exactly does one quantify talent and artistic integrity? I don’t think one is better than the other; each band conveys their own expression of music and in turn every listener interprets that expression as they wish. As a listener you should only be concerned with your own enjoyment of the music, trying to defend your tastes with arguments, such as saying that Thom Yorke is far superior to Chris Martin in every way or that Thom Yorke can’t sing, is pointless because that opinion is completely subjective. If you want to discuss the merits and faults of a band do it without resorting to comparisons with other bands.
  21. Does anyone alse get a message saying content unavaliable when trying to listen to the interview?
  22. I think there is a video of this on the BBC website, too bad you can't see it from outside the UK. http://www.bbc.co.uk/musicevents/u2/video/zanelowe/
