  1. So he (and his lot) can destroy a nuclear bomb (or other such very complicated arms) and get rid of every single piece of evidence that it ever existed but not destroy a few cassettes? Hmm.
  2. stop yer bickering you two. Unfortunately, this thread does in no way apply to 'anyone in the UK' as, much as I'd like to see Bell X1, and will do at this year's V Festival, they have only announced 1 date which is, surprise, surprise, in London which is of little use to those of us up in Yorkshire.
  3. not that anyone cares, but: me and the better half (i think it gets bigger if you click on it)

I'm going to V this year too. Which one are you going to? I'm in Stafford agian myself. Anyone in particular you're looking forward to seeing this year? I thought both V and CW(Reading/Leeds) are pretty poor, but V is marginally better. Looking forward to: Radiohead James Dean Bradfield Kula Shaker Razorlight Morning Runner Editors The Magic Numbers but far less things I really want to see than last year. I just hope I find another Turin Brakes >into> The Music >into> The Hives. Last year, I knew I wanted to see those three, but everything great about festivals was in those three sets, The Music's was especially excellent.

I think someone owes this thread a reply. I saw them in Leeds last week and they ere fantastic, sounding excellent live. Luckily for me, they've just been announced at V too so as long as their not clashing, I'll get to see them for a second time this year.
  6. Going To California by Led Zepplin, though I have absolutely no idea why

i think i cried when i first heard fix you, mainly out of despair for the terribleness of the song
  9. really don't know, except for the fact that 1 really doesn't make a difference what with them being widely available and still in production.
  10. self loathing is self obsession, and that's rarely good.

  13. 1. well, duh :) 2. i'm obsessed with collecting live shows and dvd bootlegs, that count? 3. probably half the reason behind my answer to 5 4. no you're not, I am 5. who doesn't (rhetorical question, for my ego's sake please don't correct me................) 1. I can't used that danmed textspeak in which you kids write so easily. 2. Despite numerous challengers, I've never been beaten at gay chicken. 3. I don't drink alcohol and, as such, am the only student in the country who doesn't for reasons that aren't religion or health related. 4. I can't dance to save my life. If I loved anyone more than myself, I'm sure I'd be unable to dance if it was required to save them, too. 5. I don't find a single one of the cast members from the OC attractive, neither male or female.

  17. as there's so many women in the 'hot girls' thread, I can only assume you are of the homosexual nature if you do not find this man, Sebastian Loeb, attractive. Really ladies, have some taste!

  25. I personally am lucky enough to have been in a relationship for 3 years (20) but have, in the past, found 'no strings' sex to be almost impossible for my own mind. Having said that, a fair few of my friends, not all of them male, are fine with the concept and I feel that as long as both people involved are doing so for the same reason then it doesn't matter. The point is, we all have different opinions on the matter, just as I can like one band that you can't stand, and as long as no-one is being hurt, mentally as much as physically, then I don't see a problem with it, just as there's no problem if it's not your thing. I haven't read it through, does that make sense?
