No don't give up! I was at both of the Gothenburg gigs, and both gigs had early entry people and the whole field was just one area, and I got fourth row at the first gig, started queuing around 1pm and at the second gig a second row, started queuing around 12(pm? I mean noon). I could have been at the first row, but that would have been more to the right/left side from the stage, and I wanted to be near the catwalk. So I did not have EE and got great spots at the main stage, could have been even at the very front row. Wherever you are at the gig, you will have fun! But don't give up, be ready to queue and run! :)

Also Chris uses the request song spot for playing a cover from an artist of the same country a few times now (e.g. Håkan Hellström in Sweden and Stromae in Belgium). I can speak only for Sweden's gigs, but the fans got really excited and the reception was really good. But yes, the request thing has faded away slowly, rarer songs were here and there in the beginning, then it has come to the place where they always played IMP, Don't Panic and Til Kingdom Come/Us Against the World mostly. Hopefully they will play every niw and then a surprising song, because at least they keep soundchecking and getting request videos for rarer songs. One reason might be too that the reason for request has been usually "it's my favourite song" "it's my friends favourite song" "it means a lot to me" which are valid and good reasons, but might get a little repetitious

Now that I checked the Instagram video, I see that Chris was showing the elephant guy a sign to come on stage. I don't know whether he was trying to get there and Chris just showed it is ok, or was it Chris' or crew's idea :grinning:

Yes, except the last c-stage song on Sunday 25th was a "Gothenburg song" that Chris came up on stage and on Monday 26th he played a cover (with bunch of his own lyrics I think, I'm not sure though as I have not heard the original song yet) of Håkan Hellström's "Känn Ingen Sorg För Mig Göteborg"

I'm not 100% sure because I was standing in front of the main stage, but I think he just randomly went to the stage with his "own permission" :joy: He was at the gig today too, but I didn't see him on stage

Finally! After three gigs and asking literally tens upon tens of security guys and crew members I got one! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

FINALLY! After three gigs, and asking tens of security guards and crew members I got a paper setlist. Pic: It was the same as yesterday, even the request song (Til Kingdom Come) which they didn't play again, they played a song called Känn Ingen Sorg För Mig Göteborg ("Do not feel sorry for me Gothenburg") by Håkan Hellström. They didn't unfortunately play Birds in neither of the Gothenburg gigs, GPASUYF was played again (probably because they wrote that song in Sweden after a gig which Chris told last year in Stockholm). Violet Hill again, such a blast. Charlie Brown was restarted after the intro because Chris wanted to see the crowd jumping again. And in The Scientist everyone was waving their hands, and Chris said that he has had such a shitty day, but as he saw those hands he forgot everything bad. It's great to see that fans, we, can also make them feel better, as they make millions' fans lives better. Chris' band introduction was so nice, Guy was the most handsome guy inside and outside, Jonny the kindest person and Will a kindergarten child who is a great musician after being in the band for two weeks :D (not the exact same words, will probably be uploaded to youtube by someone hopefully) It was perfect weather, sunshine and a little wind to keep you cool. Another unforgettable gig! :) More pictures and thoughts coming about both of the gigs in 2-3 days when I get back home :)

It definitely was although the weather was awful! And I think tomorrow will be as well, those boys just always put a smile upon one's face no matter what!

And I can't speak for others, but there was A LOT of cameras IMO. And I'am not talking about "the spider" or two cameramen up front, also on stage, in the barriers filming crowd, camera "crane" on the right and also big flyffy microphones here and there etc. Maybe we wil see some proshot or recorded material from the future, who knows :)
