Chris and Jonny's hearts are deeply connected, woven together by a network of guitar strings and musical staves . Will can tolerate it, but Guy is just like "nope can't handle the truth."
  2. Nah you're not. Simplicity and clever minimalism is sometimes more appealing. The giant weird border doesn't work well with the original interlocking rings in my opinion. I think they tried to strive for that during GS music wise, but it led them to oversimplify everything.
  3. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) it makes a lot of people happy.
  4. I don't know if this is relevant, but if a model was made for the band, I guess it would look like a flower. Chris is the flower part of a plant with the petals and the more noticeable parts, while the others function more like the stem and roots, holding up the flower part as well as each other. A lot of bands, especially with more introverted or timid members seem to function this way. If you see Chris in a lot of solo interviews, you could say that the band is with him, but in spirit. I also find it interesting how Coldplay has survived for this long. After more than a decade these guys have stuck together through thick and thin. All of their personalities contrast greatly, but this contrast seems to drive them all together like opposite poles on a magnet.
  5. True true. Most likely that will be the case. Appreciate life regardless of all the poop it may throw at you. Is there a thread just for creating theories and interpretations of Coldplay's albums?
  6. I wonder what the underlying theme of this album is going to be. The poster and the title tells me that it's going to be a U2-esque "let's go save the world and help the suffering" kind of thing. It could also be about how everyone is connected politically, socially and culturally based on all of those interlocking loops in the poster. It could be about childish naivety versus mature consciousness or just an appreciation for the littler things in life. Maybe it's about fictional worlds and how the human mind can go on tangents. Just speculating.
  7. Yeah. I'm an ISTP myself with a well developed feeling function. I have been trying to tap into my intuition lately by introducing myself to scientific theories and contributing to discussions on broad concepts. Being an unconscious, unaware sensor kinda sucks, because you just see what's in front of you instead of anything beyond that. I do have an interest in finding the roots of the world, the concepts that make the time flow, the universe expand and the Earth spin. I also really want to understand what the highly pedantic INTPs are talking about so I could make some witty remarks.
  8. I've been going on the INTP forum a lot lately. I've realized how difficult it is to follow highly logical extrapolations.
  9. Oh that would be a dream.
  10. It seems like Will just gets bigger and bigger every year.

Saw a buckin moment during the global citizen festival, unfortunately I don't have an image of it though.
  12. After hearing Amazing Day I actually was fairly impressed. Sure it isn't the best and it does have that GS vibe, but I could hear less repetition and some more intricacies. It gives me hope. It gives me a lot of hope.
  13. Berrylicious definition, make them girls go crazy.
  14. I agree. It's kinda on bland side in my opinion also. It does have a decent, more flexible melody and and a nice swell, but it doesn't seem entirely original. But I'm hopeful for the album in general. (And for a world tour :)) Perhaps they'll break out of their usual predictability.
  15. Of course. It's the magic of Coldplay. :)
  16. True. While I do find things like these amusing, the fact that this is being done too frequently to a bunch of middle aged men sometimes bugs me a little. The moment a young girl says, "I like four middle aged men" and makes massive fan accounts with the weirdest photos, even that in itself sounds odd. Coldplay is kinda odd like that. They certainly are getting pretty old now, but the crowd they attract is getting progressively younger. It's okay to be young and like Coldplay, but the moment the weirdest fanfiction stuff is made it gets awkward after a while.
  17. XD Don't be afraid it's harmless but kinda weird. It's literally what it says. The person reposts the same picture of a certain thing over and over again until it gets annoying and they add different captions everytime. It's dumb stuff like this. The one direction ones used to be the first thing to pop up when I search "the same picture of" but now it's the Coldplay ones.
  18. There are also those "same picture of" accounts popping up within the fandom
  19. XD yeah that exists too. There is also a hashtag called, "#jonnysdoublechinporn" I assure you that the content there is appropriate for all ages... I think. But it only shows that this fandom isn't all that chilled out.
  20. I understand what you are saying. However, I have seen people like that in the Coldplay fandom, particularly in the younger fans. We have a combination of much older fans and younger fans, which may make us appear chilled out, but the moment you search up #guyberrymanismadeofpuppies you will see otherwise. Some of the stuff I have seen on Instagram has either scared me or made me laugh out loud. I can't imagine tumblr is better.

Wow. They are adorable together. And Chris's age is really catching up to him now.
  22. I'm sure it's not that bad. True true, very true. Every fandom has their nuts here and there, and sometimes the fandom can be labeled a certain way just because of the nuts. People don't like to take a deeper look into things and generalize.
  23. I understand where you are coming from, and I have this conflicting feeling inside of me too. Deep inside, it feels creepy, it is creepy, to constantly spy on these guys and make catcall-like comments on their appearance. I get this uncomfortable twist in my gut when I see this, but admittedly, at the same time it's quite intriguing. Human nature and temptation conflict with rationality. *shrugs*
  24. Aww that's nice. Coldplay is by everyone's side. (As well as time.)
