Coldplay World Tour 2016 - 2017 Discussion
Live 2016 will probably be either released at the end of this year or the end of the tour nxt year and it will either be filmed at one location or multiple. And thats ever crowd at every Coldplay concert lol, granted Latin American audiences are enthusiastic. Sent from my VS986 using Coldplaying mobile app

Theyll change set lists too. The problem is the fake setlist created fake hype with an unrealistic set list that made no sense. If you were there dont say youd stand around and complain. Be honest, it would be amazing to be there Sent from my VS986 using Coldplaying mobile app

Guys they played a good balance! Green Eyes! How can u complain! This band has released 7 albums of hits, you cant expect them to play every hit and every song from every album (i wouldnt mind it but i know others wouldnt want to be at a concert for 6 hours) Sent from my VS986 using Coldplaying mobile app

Rate the latest movie you've seen
I recently went with the fam to see Zootopia at the local mall theater. Despite there being a cliche theme and jokes, it actually had a well-constructed plot. There was a twist that i didnt see coming and the last joke in one of the last scenes is the best comic relief. It teaches diversity, makes fun of conservatives, and fits right into the grand Pixar Theory. Sent from my VIVO AIR using Coldplaying mobile app

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Well if you had read a more recent post i made and if you werent 20 pages back on the thread, youd know that i have already turned around and apologized for anything rude that i said. Also i have come to the conclusion that Coldplay is a global band. They appeal to a wider audience spectrum. FOB is a radio rock band that is appealing to a smaller audience. I respect both bands but i will say i find myself listening to FOB more than Coldplay. Stump's voice is really addictive.

You guys do realize how old this band is. 7 albums with as many hits as they have, they cant play all of them in one concert. Theres a reason why OLD Coldplay played OLD hits live because they were the hits at the time. Those songs for the B and C stages are golden so dont be unreasonable please. I understand that we can have our opinions but its kinda silly to ask for the impossible.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
I cant help but wonder what if the band had made a mini movie during the MX era based on the album where the band members were the car kids. It would be made out of a collection of music videos kind of like how Fall Out Boy's movie The Youngblood Chronicles is made of music videos for each song on the album Save Rock And Roll.

Thats more for music production, not composing but if youd like to try with that, thats cool.

There was an entire album of songs they scrapped for X&Y. And dont forget that MX was supposed to be acoustic. Who knows what gems were recorded during the first sessions of that album?

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Im doing it for a concert a year away, try suggesting that. And if you dont have a pro program for composing, i recommend using Noteflight online and creating a free account.

Hmm yeah they did talk about them being nervous on stage until the MX tour in Live 2012. Youre right.

Get those 2 groups involved! Youll have an easier job than me lol. If you learn music theory its really easy to compose. If you need help, just pm me.

On a lighter note, Im arranging Up&Up for my school band, orchestra, and chorus to sing for next years spring concert. Its a lot of work but it'll be worth it. I hope to be able to play Noel's solo.

The only example of a band ripping off another band is American Authors' Best Day Of My Life ripping off Imagine Dragons' It's Time. They used a mandolin with similar percussion and everything.

Radiohead+U2=Coldplay. At least ID takes influence from various bands. I think ID will do better in the music biz in the future than Coldplay did because each album so far has different sounds. Coldplay kinda had a slow start to fame. Yeah Yellow was a hit, but look at the live shows. Imagine Dragons has become an arena band only on their second album. Coldplay was playing a few arenas but mostly smaller venues during AROBTTH. Its not something to get upset about though because right now Coldplay is way more famous. The problem is if they make another mainstream pop album, theyll fade into the background like other pop bands. Nothing wrong with pop in fact i quite enjoy Twenty One Pilots which is entirely pop. The difference is that they use real instruments and have lyrics that mean something. Coldplays good but we are starting to see their decline.

And im pretty sure The Beatles ARE remembered as rock because they were the first rock band that created the rock bands we know today. They also set the foundations for modern pop, punk, and alt.

Ooooh hes got a point.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Yeah I meant to say that I dont know why i said xylotos lol

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Actually i think i remember an interview on this. Xylotos are featured on the first track they recorded which ended up being the title track. They needed a main character for the story so what name rhymes with Xyloto? Mylo.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Hey guys I apologize I dont know why I said what I did today but I should not have fueled this argument. I think I can learn to appreciate both the new material of Coldplay and rock. Both are unique and I can enjoy the two. I apologize to anyone I argued with, the staff of Coldplaying, and Coldplayers in general. I really need some Coldplay music right now. Anyone have any suggestions? Any era.

Im sorry everyone i made a mistake today. I caused an argument on LP7 thread. I dont know what was wrong with me today but I shouldnt have done what I did and I apologize to the staff of Coldplaying as well as to all Coldplayers. I will still be on this thread as I can appreciate both new and old Coldplay. Why does one have to choose one over the other? If you do thats cool, but ill do both.
