I replied to basically the same question. I believe I said something like this: "I get it if you don't like some of their work. However, in this case we're talking disliking their work for almost 6 years! That is almost half of their career. If you don't like them, you don't have to be a fan, find another artist you like :)"

I think the reason behind mistaking some members as boys is because they use one of the band members as their profile, so your brain unconsciously registers them as male lol. I also think part of the reason is because you read posts in your own voice, and because you're a male, you read their's in the voice of a male :)

I can't say that all the Newplayer's posts were solid (tbh same goes for pretty much any side) but I'm pretty sure Jedi Leo's posts were well thought out and nicely backed up? There are some other posters but I can't really remember their names... sorry :)
