Hi There. My name is Alex. I currently live in Los Angeles. Although, Not sure how much longer I'll stay here. I'm an east coast girl. I have loved Coldplay for Years. Their music really helped me through some hard times and I tend to run to them to ease and calm me. It's amazing to me how every single one of their songs is amazing. I'll be on here often so let me know whos out there.

Good idea to introduce myself first. I am ShaftX, and I live in the Netherlands. Thought it would be nice to register here, since I look here often for the latest updates about Coldplay. My addiction for Coldplay is growing each day. I love their music since Parachutes. Yesterday I saw them live for the first time in Amsterdam. I'm new to the forum so I figured my best start here would be to introduce myself. I've been a Coldplay fan for a while, but I guess you could say I 'rediscovered' them this past year once I went away to college. I love music - I almost always have a song stuck in my head - and whatever I'm listening to reflects my mood. I like to describe Coldplay's music as soaring - a kaleidoscope of sounds that really take the listener on a journey. Some of my favorite songs of theirs would probably have to be "In My Place" and "Spies." I have an eclectic taste in music - I like everything from Jeff Buckley to Sigur Ros to Incubus to Lauryn Hill - just to name a few. I'm not quite…

Hey, I've been lurking on this board for several months, but I've finally decided to make an account. I've been a Coldplay fan ever since my friend's mom turned me onto Parachutes. They were actually the first band I ever truly loved, back when I was a wee lad. No band has ever spoken to me the way they have. I'm intensely excited for VLV... In fact, I don't think I've ever been more pumped for anything in my life. I plan on making my way to my local record store at ~6 AM on the 17th to pick up the album. Love, Jason

Hello everyone! I've been a Coldplay fan as long as I can remember and I love each and every album for its own style and unique sound. Although I have to say that Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends is pretty AMAZING and the most excited I've ever been about one of their new releases. A little about me: I live in Seattle, WA, the top left corner of the United States. :) It is a great, diverse city. Although I am really upset that Coldplay are not stopping here on their N. actually i'm not quite new here, i was registered a year ago but i was watching this forum and it seems like people here are nice and friendly with a good taste of music :smug: oh i firgot to introduce myself i'm AVIA (strange name i know :laugh3:) right now it looks like i'm the only one from Israel and i'm terrible with english grammer the first impression i've got from coldplay is that there is a piano on many of their songs and i think that is what it makes them so special. (i really love pianos, i play on the piano for 10 years now :cool:) hope i'll fit in...

I randomly caught on to Coldplay last year. Ever since I heard the first couple of songs I have become addicted. I've been surfing coldplaying.com for a while now, but I had been resisting signing up for the board because I already waste enough of my free time on other boards. I couldn't wait any longer though. I am pumped for this new album, I have tickets to the show in KC and I'm hoping I win the tickets to Madison Square Garden.
