I have been peaking around here occasionally for the past week and just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Raymond. I am 25 and live at home with my mom and do nothing but listen to Coldplay.

I'm new here; thought I'd introduce yourself (but I don't plan on just introducing myself and vanishing). I am Garrett, 16 years old, male, interested in: music, adventures, music, literature, Child Youth Working, hmm... skiing? Haha. WELL... Hello all! My name is Josh (who would have guessed?), I'm just about 16, livin' it up in Virginia, USA. I first found Coldplay about 2 years ago, and what I used to think made me a pretty devoted fan (owning all 3 LP's), now seems pretty wimpy to me, considering that I'm nearing my completion of Coldplay's complete discography. My favorite Coldplay songs are: Fix You (it's emotion and build up can be matched by no other), and Yellow (with lyrics so breathtakingly pure and lovely). Hi, I'm new here and I have to answer some questions about coldplay and I was wandering if you could help me... I need to know what instruments there are used in 'Speed Of Sound' (my favourite coldplay song) I thought it was Gitare, Piano, Drums. But I'm not sure. And then my most important question, if you could please answer... Is there a subculture connected with coldplay? Do you have to do something to be part of the coldplay-fans? I have always been a fan of Coldplay, but I didn't begin to listen seriously to the band before I turned 15 or something, and it wasn't before recently Coldplay replaced U2 as my favorite band. My favorite song.. ermh, it must be Moses, or Gravity, or Fix You, or Green Eyes. ..if I must say one, it'll have to be Fix You. I love the lyrics, and the instrumental part is just lovley. Hello Everyone, I'm new to these forums A little bit about myself, well although i like a lot of songs from different artist, Coldplay by a long shot is my favourite band. Also, I'm 17 years old, born in Mexico city, but I've lived in Toronto, Canada, for the past 10 years, and thats about it. Hello everyone, I'm new here (well, obviusly, hehe). I've been a coldplay fan ever since I first heard In My Place, so I bought the album A rush of blood to the head, and realised how awesome it was !! Then Parachutes followed, and the newest one X&Y, and ever since then I was searching for songs such as B-sides or those played only live, and came across quite a few of them :) In my opinion, some of those less known songs are one of the best songs from Coldplay. Oh and, can't wait for the next album :nice:
