hey people i'm deaths_friend (i know that sounds soo sadistic) and i'm a massive coldplay fan. as you can most probably tell from my post count i've been here for a while. i actually used to hate the band with a passion when they first came out then i heard chris martin and johnny do "the scientist" at the Sydney Opera house studios and fell in love with the band. i havent seen them perform live but will do anything to get to their shows this time around. my fave album is rush of blood and my fave song is "yellow". and i love their live 2003 dvd mainly because it was made in sydney!! please check out my blog. its made for their upcoming world tour. you can find a …

I've been a "casual fan" of Coldplay for YEARS. Ever since I heard them for the first time, I heard Yellow and thought it was fantastic. I never heard the whole album though. Then when AROBTTH came out I burned it and well, I think we all know what songs are on the first half of that album. ... when X&Y came out my fandom had built to where I was anticipating the release so I bought the album. Hello, everyone! I am so loving this group calling themselves Coldplay. lol I really love all of their songs (so melodic). Truely talented songwriters and also awesome musicians, as well. I'm a psych major and, for some reason, if I listen to Coldplay on my way to school, it clears my head and allows me to do well that day. Go figure. Not to mention that I think Chris Martin is such a cutie. Well, that's it from me. Hope that my stay is enjoyable. I'm sure it will be!

New to the forum, but definitely not to Coldplay. Saw them in Tampa during the Twisted Logic Tour. I've been a Coldplay fan for a much shorter time that most of you probably, getting into them when they played at Live 8 in 2005, and my friend sending me their song "A Message", which remains one of my favorite songs of all-time. My girlfriend introduced CP to me sometime around the Parachute realease. I hated them then because of principles towards my girlfriend. Travelling around south America the only record we managed to pack, in all haste, was the same record. So I forced myself to listen to it 2-3 times. Now I'm completly hooked and my girlfriend hates that I listen to CP at least a couple of times a week. Now I'm seriously starts to grow tired of the three previous records.
