Its great and i keep on checking it regularly for coldplay news. well finally got the courage to register. i must say ive enjoyed reading some of the posts like the picture caption and world music. thanks to all those people who have posted mp3 music files etc. and sharing your musical tastes. I've been to their 2003 tour in Melbourne Australia and i had liked them before but i was hooked then- i respect bands who are great live!! i have listened to X&Y so much that my sister is scared of me and Fix You is stuffed up - it goes slow then fast just at the part where all four of them sing :embarrased: …

Hello fellow Coldplay-ites. Just stumbled across this place, and it looks fantastic. I'm a huge Coldplay fan, seen them live 4 times. They just appear to be getting better and better. This place looks pretty friendly. So who do I have to look out for? Who going to be the first person to welcome me? I'm waiting... :wink3:

Hey the people, I'm Nicola..16 from Doncaster, been a Coldplay fan since just before AROBTTH was released, completely obsessed but unfortunately haven't been able to see them live because of the far away-ness and fact that no one seems to understand the genius of Chris, Johnny, Guy and Will out of my friends...but I'm attempting some large scale conversions. So...yeah, hi. Be gentle! Nic :o

My name's Isaac. I live in America. I am actually a more recent Coldplay fan, I got "AROBTTH" sometime in '04 because I was a big fan of "Yellow." To my suprise, "Yellow" wasn't on it, but I still had it so I just kept it there. Over time, it always ended up being the album I'd put on, whether on iTunes or the iPod, so over time I became curious, and also got "Parachutes." I was thoroughly impressed, and my interest grew in the band. I kept listening and looking for more material, then I heard the news about the new album coming out, and was excited. I got "Speed of Sound" and enjoyed it a lot, hoping this sound, much like Clocks, would be constant on the new…

I'm 26 and live in Ontario, Canada. Never been to a Coldplay concert yet. Actually I only became a fan with the release of their single "Speed of Sound". After taking suggestions from older fans to listen to their old material. I realize that I did hear Coldplay back then when they first came out. I can say I like their old music. But to be honest, this new album is what does it for me. Because this is the album that gave me the push to find out who the band was, read their bio and listen to them more often. Besides "Green Eyes" anyone know of any other songs of Coldplay that could be played on acoustic guitar? Thanks! Kevin

i've been lurking around for a bit until I finally decided to join this forum, so I thought I'd just come in here and say hi. I was lucky enough to get tickets the day before their Toronto gig on Aug.2!! That was my first Coldplay concert, and even though I was up in the 300-level seating, it was great! Anyway, i'm looking forward to talking and meeting new people here (I've noticed quite a few Torontonians too! ;) )!

I've always been a Coldplay fan but their new CD has got me addicted to listening to it!! Since X & Y came out, I've bought most of their sheet music and I got back into playing the piano after years of being away from it. Coldplay is a great inspiration!

From the founding of Students in Democratic Action at United High School in 2002 to attending the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2003 to being the youngest candidate for any public office in the history of Webb County in 2004, Laredo’s John A. Went to the Clark County/Portland show last night, and am still groggy... The show was fantabulous - our seats were great - and I was really impressed with the venue (we'd never been there before)... That is, until we were leaving... Anyone else get stuck in the nasty traffic jam leaving the place? We were at a standstill for nearly TWO HOURS... :( Still didn't diminish how great the show was, though. I wish I'd found this site before we went, of course, because I didn't know you could bring a camera - I left mine at home! Bummer. Am hunting for last night's setlist and pictures from the show to post a review on my blog, and will give credit to anyone who passes them…
