I heard a couple of Brandys new songs on her new album an she sings about coldplay an sings a line or 2 from "Sparks" on one of the tracks.It actually sounds pretty good when she sings the "Sparks" lines in my opinion. the song was called "I Tried". In another song called "Should I Go" she uses the piano part of Clocks in her song for song. It also sounds pretty good. Brandy siad that she is a huge Coldplay fan an they inspires her in an interview.

Just listened to it..it's an alright song I guess. Her voice is too breathy though.

Definitely not better than Coldplay, you guys were right about that. :D She sounds pretty good though!

Oh I think I like the song very much :blush: Main reason is the Clocks sample of cors, but when she sings the refrain along the guitar riff...beautiful, perfect for dreaming. :rolleyes:

Sparks is one of my favourite Coldplay songs, so I'll have to leave it untainted in my memory by not listening to the lines butchered by Brandy's voice.

havnt heard i but i might download it. it cant be no where as good coldplay though. when they use there stuff noone that beat them

Okay I had already heard the I tried song...and I like that one..bu the second song...it's all messed up...I did not liked it...I've heard other songs that also have the same "clocks" rhythm are better the hers... :smug: But I liked the first one though ;)

i'm just downloading/listenning to the tracks for the first time now. interesting. they may not be great, but it was cool of her to try putting a different spin on the melody.
