I didn't really like their first album too much, but They Were Wrong So We Drowned is REALLY growing on me. Possibly the best new album I've heard so far this year, if you can put up with it's dense and sometimes grating dissonance. :cool:

funny band they are indeed. they arent bad. cool video with cats, were there cats? cool colours! i mean, some people think they are "garbage". but really, really now, its just so fun to listen to.

I think the reason a lot of people don't like them is because they didn't "pull a Strokes" and record another album that sounds exactly like their first album.

Or maybe they dont like em cause they don't make good music?

too bad I downloaded two songs by em using a lil program called soulseek after i posted in your thread.

But after i heard how bad they were i returned to the brilliant strokes guitar riffs.

Their new album is good.

I heard of them through their new album and I absolutely love their new album. Tried the others but couldn't get into them though (but I do love The Other Side Of Mt. Heart Attack).

 

Lately I've been listening to it a lot. I don't know why. I went months not listening to it and now I can't get enough of it. Love "No.1 Against the Rush", "His and Mine Sensations" and "Who Is the Hunter".

 

Honorable mentions to "Brats" and "Annual Moon Words".

I remember listening to WIXIW, and not really liking it at all. There are some great songs and some pretty decent ones. My favourites were No.1 Against the Rush, Octagon and definetely Who is the Hunter. I might give the album another try.
