my email vanished a few weeks ago for no reason...damn near derailed the charity CD. I only have a hotmail account atm, and those have no storage. Is it http://www.ishouldbesolucky.com/alexgladwin? This computer works with some sites and not others...old Windows, old Explorer, so the other site might work.

Did you get my pm about the sound bytes?

No it's a different site though you have to be a member of it to hear other members songs, I'll just email them to you later.

No I didn't get that PM, but I got an email about the CD press release from you, and just about thirty seconds ago I posted it as a bulletin on Myspace! I have like 550 friends on there too lol, and while I'm sure very few of them actually read my bulletins, maybe at least some of them will check out the CD.

Awesome! A few people including me have sent it around myspace, and Ian sent it to every member of this forum!! I've also sent it to a few people in the press, but so far, the response hasn't been overwhelming, lol.

I rpobably didn't send you the sound byte pm, because I sent you two others, and I didn't want you to feel spammed, lol. I'm still trying to get people with an mp3 player or the like tor ecord and post a little snippet of themselves saying who they are and where they're from. I'm back in the studio to edit the bonus track, so I've resorted to personally begging people to make one if they can.;)

I'd be too embarased to do something like that! I hate to talk about myself, even just introducing myself! lol. That would be the worst thing I think if my music ever took of, having to talk to people like the press or doing TV interviews! I'd die! lol

lol. It kind of goes with the territory.:) Besides, it's a CD...totally annonymouse. You're not in front of an audionce or an interviewer.:D

I'd rather just let my songs on there speak for themselves, I don't need to tell people who I am, it's not important! lol

Well, I can't argue with that. Your songs are great, and the music is the most important thing.

The bonus track isn't specifically about the musicians. The clips are from several people on here, even Ian. The way I'm using them is over a piece of instrumental music with a reading of the ccc's mission statement. The point is many voices can speak to a common purpose...If we get it right tomorrow, it should sound pretty cool. (Of course, if it doesn't work, it could sound like a cheesey Sally Struthers charity ad,lol) Anyway, of you're not into it, I understand. You've already given more than enough to this project.:D

Ooh talking over instrumental music is always good! I always think of Public Enemy for that kind of thing though lol

lol. This is a slow, repetitious piece of piano music, so I don't think chuck D. will be making an appearance. If it turns out, I'm hoping to use it for an audio ad for the CD...maybe.
