Cool :nice: We were there for the concert seven hours before the doors even opened, and Coldplay wasn't on till 9 pm, but we were already thereat 10.30 am :D

We were also the first three people to buy t-shirts and among the 20 first to enter the stadium. And I got a press sticker from a photographer who was in front of me, between the fence and the stage. http://forum.coldplaying.com/viewtopic.php?t=18580&start=75

Wow, Irene, that is awesome. I would have gotten there really early as well. You are wicked lucky. Thanks for the link. :)

Lucky us :D And I'm sure I've looked Guy in the eyes  That's just my imagination probably, but he was really lookin' straight at me, he was sitting on a chair quite low on the stage, and he kept looking at the very front row..

 Guy, oh yes. I would have had my eyes on him all night :wink3:

I'm sure he was looking at you, you were in the front. :D

But really, he looked my way for at least 30 seconds :stunned:

There was this really weird guy at my right by the way, he was like in trance or something, he never moved, had his eyes closed almost the full lenght of the concert and just mouthed the words.

 Well, Coldplay has that effect on some people. I am pretty emotionally attached to their music so I can understand why that guy was so out of it.

I don't think I could have handled Guy looking at me for 30 seconds

Hahaha :D He's a really talented bass player, too ;) I love Square One live, it's really overwhelming and haas a thunderous bass line in it.

Can't wait for my live Square One. :D Guy is the man :D What were your other highlights?

Well, the first two songs were Square One and Politik, which was just this wall of sound flowing over us, and it really got the adrenaline going. Fantastic crowd by the way, no pushing, no booing, no pissed people..And Don't Panic, The Scientist and Fix You were very intimate, and Chris swung this small light bulb, which was on a wire from the lights above the stage, round and round and then swung it towards the audience, and there were fireworks when he let go of it...and then the quiet part at the end of Fix You, which was the last song, and all the lights were out except for that small bulb still floating around above the stage and chris' voice...Sooo cool :D

Damn, Irene. Sounds amazing. The light bulb that Chris was swinging must have looked really trippy especially with it dark in the venue and such an emotional song being played. i love to hear of other people's concert experiences. Thanks for sharing although it will be harder to wait now :/ :D
