The lady makes sense, they just want big names. They've made some great signings, but Michael Owen is just useless.

Sure he has scored 158/297 games, but then again his record two seasons ago was like 157/200.

 

Haha no not really but if you were watching Soccer AM the other day they showed all his tap-ins over last season, such crummy goals. He WAS a fantastic player, and the last 2 seasons hes been pretty much, mush.

He has been suffering injuries over the last 2 seasons and stuff, that's why he dint score much for the club nor in international football! :rolleyes: Overall, he was still one liverpool's best strikers, maybe he will replaced by someone else(its hard), but definitely not djibril cisse! :)

All I am going to say, And Its Not that I have anything against Owen, but Real Madrid Manager, Camacho said,

 

"I'm really happy we have signed Owen. He was not my first choice buy for this Summer, but I am sure with a player of the talent of Owen on the team, he will really be able to keep the first team strikers on their toes."
