Its not easy to do sometimes, like I knew a guy that told everyone he fell in love with a girl and actually followed girls around, really weirdly to try and prove to everyone that they are not gay...but you know, i guess its just they dont think its socially acceptable...we've got some very homophobic people though around us!!!

from my experience with gays, and there havent been much, but i have to kinda deal with it cos of my house mate lol, but there are two types,

 

those who are like super open and super gay, really camp guys,

 

and those who arent even noticable, unless, well they get drunk, or start hitting on you :stunned:
