shit :o :o

Ivan is bristling with 145mph (230km/h) winds. It is being rated as category four, on a scale of five, but could gain strength as it nears Jamaica.

Thanks for the support guys ....

There is very little I can do is apart from hope everyone is going to be AOK. I called last night everyone was just bracing themselfs, they know a lot of people are going to lose their homes and its going to affect their economies very badly hit, but at least they are going to be alive, and thats what counts. !!

Loads of people from my local area have set up support groups for people who have real close family over there, so they can help relay inforamation back to them. And some local churces have been holding over night vigils for them as well. Jamaica and its peoples are a praying nation and their faith will carry them though. !!

In the short term they are going to be without running water, and power but the Jamaican Goverment have shut these down for saftey reasons and as a consquence once the storm is over they will be able to switch them back on. !
