SANTIAGO.- Luego que se conociera que agotaron ayer las entradas para su show del 27 de marzo de 2009 en San Carlos de Apoquindo, Radiohead anunció hoy en su página oficial, una segunda presentación. Esta vez, para un día antes, el 26 de ese mes, en el mismo recinto.

 

La fecha también la informó la productora a cargo del espectáculo DG Medios, que indicó que las entradas se pondrán a la venta este domingo 23, a través del sistema PuntoTicket, en Ripley y Cinemark habilitados, y además, por el callcenter 600 462 6000.

 

En ocho días, la banda de Thom Yorke vendió los 20 mil tickets para la cita. No será la única oportunidad de verlos: un segundo show se anunciaría pronto e incluso se especula con la opción de una tercera fecha.

 

Durante 2008, los hombres de "No surprises" se han dedicado a girar y sacar dividendos del golpe artístico y publicitario que significó el estreno vía web de "In rainbows" (2007), ofreciendo un espectáculo de apabullante despliegue tecnológico. También demostraron que la jugada de vender un disco al precio que cada consumidor estimara fue una maniobra financiera brillante.

 

Según la editorial discográfica Warner Chappell, sólo durante el período que duró este modelo de descargas (tres meses), la banda ganó más dinero que lo recopilado en las ventas de su trabajo antecesor, "Hail to the thief" (2003).
