the grudge

vinita told me about this movie i had no idea about last night.

i visited the site.

scary stuff :o

Sarah Michelle Gellar is in it = bad movie.

Haven't viewed the whole site, as the only high speed I have is at work *ahem*

They should have chosen someone else other than Sarah Michelle. Should have made it a guy in the movie as usually a female is the protagonist.

It seems a little tacky (too little to the imagination) but I still may see it as those dead people look cool

Yeah, after the Buffy the Vampire series, then Scooby Doo, it's really hard to take her seriously. She looks really, really out of place!

But, I must say I am a HUGE horror movie freak. I'm looking forward to this one. My favorite so far is called "The Doll House" But, when it comes to a specific evil monster or villian.... Freddy wins hands down!!

I like zombies as horror movie creatures... or killer ghosts.

Vampires are hot too, but overused and cliche.

The commercials scare me with that little cat/kid/thing that meows with glowing black eyes :/

ME TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and that girl or whatever crawling down the stairs?? What's up with that?? :o

I didn't see that part, mostly because I always turn my head away when that commercial comes on

LOL!! I saw that part, it looked pretty cool. I hope it wasn't taken out of context, though.

I like zombies, but they're more humorous than anything. I did see Resident Evli 2, and for those of you who haven't seen it yet, it's pretty good. I thought it was really funny!

There are a few good vampire movies out there, but they are over-used. My fav was Dusk till Dawn, either that or Interview with a Vampire (though it was really more of a drama with a whole lot of eye candy!!)

I actually saw the japanese movie that this is based on a few months ago. It was pretty good, and it looks like they've redone a lot of the original shot-for-shot. I'm curious to see if they can string together the plot so that it actually makes sense, because that was my biggest complaint with Ju-on.

I just saw the commercial for this and it scared the crap out of me. I hate scary movies. I pretty much don't watch 'em. I'm suck a weakling. :( :smug:

I've seen the commercial and it looks like "Darkness Falls" and "The Ring" mixed together...

the original one of the grudge isn't scary.

darkness falls was TERRIBLE

I never said it wasn't

ok... if you have any interest in seeing the grudge,

for your own sake please don't... it's worse than a mouth full of sores.

if you Do go see it and after the naked cat boy are hopefully thinking...

hey... maybe it gets better...

It doesn’t... it gets much... much worse
