I need, well, want to buy some new shoes this weekend. Should I buy practical running shoes that would be helpful for the montreal winter (despite the fact that my current pair aren't that worn out yet) or go for more of a dressier "going-out" shoe (which are slightly more pricey than the practical ones)?

hmm difficult...I'd also love to get going-out shoes but practitcal shoes...are more practical and maybe more important

i have the same problem. i think i'm going to buy both kinds - a nice pair and a comfy one :)

 

i'd say for you... perhaps .. think about which one you'd use more, or which one will match with your clothes more.. are you more of a casual person, or do you like to dress nicely? :)

Get a nice dressy pair that are comfortable and durable. Like Mary Janes with a little heel. That way you'll always look smashing and be ready to run as well. ;)

I also love shoes, but I'm not a shoe maniac... I think I was becoming one though :stunned: but then I was looking at all my shoes one day..and I thought to myself "I think it's been like 2yrs that I bought these shoes and I've never wore them once..I'm just wasting my money.." and I've stopped now :stunned:
