I thought they were really good live, dancey and upbeat. The crowd at my show didn't seem too into the opener. Although I would of preferred Blonde Redhead because I really like their music.

I dug about 2 songs of Blonde Redhead.. never heard of them until that night (3/1) well, i did check out a few tracks on iTunes.. but they were better live.. still, not enough to convince me.. I thought that girls voice was soooooooooo irritating.. lol I liked that one song... where she says.. '..... the way that I love you.. ' and its like reverbed and stuff.. cool song. But 30 minutes was enough for me... lol

INTERPOL MIX THEMSELVES UP

 

 

INTERPOL are to release a new single to coincide with their two sold-out dates at LONDON CARLING BRIXTON ACADEMY next month.

 

The group, who play the venue on April 8 and 9, release ’C’mere’ on April 11. The track is backed across the formats by remixes of other tracks from the group’s ’Antics’ LP. The twist is the remixes are by the band members themselves - Daniel Kessler tackles ’Not Even Jail’, Paul Banks is responsible for ’Narc’, Carlos D revamps ’Public Pervert’ and Sam Fogarino gets to grips with ’Length Of Love’, with a little help from indie rock legend Bob Mould.

 

As previously revealed on NME.COM, the band are confirmed to support Coldplay at Dublin Marley Park on June 22 and London Crystal Palace Sports Arena on June 28.

TAKE NOTE: It has been speculated that Interpol will be featured on the cover of the April 05 spin magazine. I have not seen it yet, so I cannot say for sure. But I will investigate further.
