I smoke since my 20's... My lung is probably rotten... so, I wanna quit.

let me tell you all a little something about smoking! i mean, not picking on any of you...but im sure all of you know that smoking kills, so i want treat you like idiots, but

 

from the Age of 20, your Forced Expiratory Volume per second decreased in normal people between 20-30ml per year in non-smokers

 

actual smokers are more likely to have a decrease of 80ml/year

 

and as for those who say, ah well, we can have lung transplants, let me remind you that a transplant lasts 5 years and you lose your coughing reflex. This means, that what you will suffer pretty consistantly from things like bronchitis and bronchiolitis as well as other infections and that is what will give make you need a new lung. Cigarettes are not the only things that cause this so dont be fooled, all you dope smokers out there will suffer a similar fate except with dope smoke, it affects a different part of the lung!

Who cares David! Al Pacino and Johnny Depp smoke like hell and they kick ass.

Smokers know cigarrette kill, smokers know that we all are going to have lung problems (I don´t expect a lung transplant), even still we continue to smoke. Addiction.

I felt the consequences of smoking when I began taking swimming classes. I just can´t cross the pool like before.

hey, no offence to you, but i do..i mean its the whole reason i chose to do my course was to help people.
