Ooooooh, it's a great review!! Yeeeeah, baby, I'm so glad you enjoyed the gig!! I'm on a Travis mood now...

*plays 12 memories*

The're really good playing live, sooo true!! And I love how they enjoy the shows too, interacting with the crowd. You can feel the conection. It's the magic of music live! :D

I'm not very good at lyrics 'cause I have to pay attention and try to translate the meaning...

But 'Turn' was the 1st song I heard of them and I love the lyrics. Sometimes I feel like it's talking about me...

We'll never know unless we grow

There's so much world outside the door

I want to sing

To sing my song

I want to live in a world where I'll be strong

I want to live I will survive

And I believe that it won't be very long...

Definitely, you're my man, dear!! :D 'Follow the light' is one of my fave Travis song, and the best in 'The invisible band'.

'Cos it's alright, just follow the light

and don't be afraid of the dark.

In the moonlight you'll dance till you fall

and always be here in my heart.

It's great to see people from here enjoyed the gig!! :D :D

Now everytime I hear the beginning of 'Happy to hang around' I close my eyes and I can see their show here in my mind... :smug:

i went to the Travis concert friday night and took loads of pics' date=' and I met the whole band and got a setlist. Click on the link here to see: http://coldplay.artscience.net/vbb/showthread.php?s=504036143e181f12d14f6a9779f85138&threadid=69891[/quote']

Wooooow, your pics are great!! You were really close to the stage!! Thanks for sharing with us!! :D :D

And the best of this pics is realize that... Frannie didn't wear his white suit!! Whooooaaa, thanks God he bought more clothes...

And, definitely, he looks waaaaaaaaay better with the new haircut!!

Frannie, mmmmmmh :D

Where was Friday's concert?

This is a little gross, but it looks like Fran wore the same shirt the next night.

Stupid English-centric pop world! :P

The Police did a lot of songs in Spanish, a lot of time with completely different words to account for the difference in language (e.g., not a straight translation).

Sting still does record a lot of him music in both Spanish and Portuguese.

  @ stupid english-centric pop world!!

In fact, I love reading lyrics in english 'cause it's a good way to learn more. And I only hear a pair of bands playing in spanish. Yeeeeeeap, I'm a totally anglophile!! :P :P

Mmmh, I didn't know that about The Police and Sting... Cool them!! :D

It was in L.A.

And it's probably he wore the same shirt because in the european tour he wore the same suit! Dirty man! :P

Ew!

And he was complaining about how much he sweats.

Ew! Ew! Ew!

Actually, I have multiple versions of the same clothing (jeans, some plain shirts). I'm not sure I would perform back-to-back nights in the same clothes, but it doesn't matter.

Totally agree. The joy of performing totally comes through Fran and Dougie. Doug's a treat ... though comes off as a bit of a fegula (sic). :)

Multi-eeeeeeeewww!!

I really hope he also has different shirts... I'm thinking in his gf, poor girl!! :P

We could make a foundation to buy him some different clothes...

I can't see myself paying for anything for Fran, but maybe we could send his g/f some sympathy cards.

Nora, we support you, dear!!

OMG! You know the name of his g/f?!?!?

Noni and Fran sitting in a treat

K-I-S-S-I-N-G

A fegula?

But it's alright, just follow the light

And don't be afraid of the dark

*sniff, sniff*

That's my very poor Yiddish spelling of that's languages word for ... well ...

... somebody for whom being cute is part of their culture :P

Have I read Noni and Fran kissing in the same sentence?

This hangover is worst that I thought!!

Well, it's easy to know Nora is his gf. 'Sing' and 'Flowers in the window' are dedicated to her in the album. And in the thanks credits he always say: Thanks to mum and nora'...

And she is also in the documentary of the More than Us dvd...

Oooooh, Yiddish... don't know a word!

I like your description for 'fegula', it's cool!! And yeah, Dougie is a fegula then, and Fran!! :P

If Fran has a g/f, then he's not a fegula.

Hello guys, well i'm just borrowing the pc from my brother, I just woke up and thank god I went yesterday to see Travis, awesome show!!!! and plus we got great seats, left orchestra section, on the 6th row (G), I should have bought a disposable camera to take some pics, damm!!!

I got to be on the stage at the finale of the concert, when everybody got up there, while they were singing Why Does It Allways Rain On Me :D :D

Neil gave me hi's drumstick and the setlist :D :D :D :D

Later I'll talk more, I'm so freekin' happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know ... nobody ever checked my ticket yesterday. I just walked through my door and, essentially, took my seat ... then took a different seat.

I think I could have gone for free!
