Honestly, I think this batch of singers is the worst ever. I loved Anwar so much but I didn't understand how he didn't want to pick it up when he got to the big stage. And none of these people.. exactly have that star quality of freshness. Bo, he's awesome, but I'm getting bored with him. He's not fresh. His performances are now very predictable. Carrie can sign well but performance wise very bad. She usually stands somewhere expressionless and lets the cameras around do the stage movements for her. Anthony tries so hard to be good that he comes off as annoying, boring, and unlikeable. Scott just has no vocal ablilty. The only reason he got this far was from that campaign to get the worst singer to win to show how American Idol is a sham. Vonzell is great. Really great. But she just doesn't have that well rounded persona and ability as great ladies before her like LaToya London, Jennifer Hudson (God rest their souls), and Fantasia Barrino did.

I agree with you on that one. I mean, I don't think anyone can have the same persona as Fantasia. Despite her voice not being the most appealing for me, that girl has some stage presence and stuff.

 

But I like Vonzell. There's something about her. Besides being a great singer, there's just something about her that makes her stand out. I liked her when she first auditioned, so i'm pleased to see she's come this far.

Who was Jennifer Hudson again? I remember hearing the name but I can't put a face to it.

I caught the ending tonight when Carrie was singing. I have it taped, so I'll watch it some time tommorrow. Bo sang Los Lonely Boys and 'Stand by Me'.

carrie is hot, but I want Bo to Win, just because it would be a nice change for pop music. Vonzell is the most talented of the bunch, but she's your typical diva. She can sing really well, but she has no unique qualities.
