...catching up with people that you knew in highschool who you don't talk to anymore. A girl, who i wasn't really close with, recently e-mailed me to tell me about her life since highschool. Not only was it super strange that she e-mailed, but all the things she has and hasn't done is shocking.

did she find thru classmates.com or something?? thats always a freakish surprise when someone finds me thru there.. :stunned:

I think she got my email from one of my friends or something.

 

I'm also like catching up with this other girl, and i'm finding out about what others are doing since we all left HS and it's so weird, i don't know why. Some of them I haven't talked to IN FOREVER and now they have kids.

yep.. thats like me and my HS friends.. I have about 3 girlfriends from HS that I constantly keep in touch with... one of which is my best friend wh has been married for 2 years now.. (been with him for about 11 yrs) and is now pregers with her first child.. the other just had her first baby.. and is getting married soon. My other friend now lives in Puerto Rico (of all places) her man is locked up and she has a 3yr old daughter. :stunned: Am I missing something here.. :embarrased: I just dont see myself getting married just yet. Perhaps because I'm single and enjoying the single life.. but I do want a meaningful relationship.. I just havent found him yet.. or maybe I have and I just dont know it.. *shrugs* I'll be 29 this year........... is my time running out? :(

But ya know? People shouldn't measure their own life by constantly comparing it to others. If you are enjoying single life, then all the power to you girl. :kiss:

i don't plan on going to my high school reunion, for fear of the freakery that'll take place. :lol: i keep in touch with three people from high school. one person more often than the other 2. the rest i have lost contact with. i probably won't speak with anyone i wasn't close with from back then in the near future. i did see this one girl from grade school recently. it was weird. she was in law school. but it was interesting. she's nice.

Yeah it's always weird... Today at job I've seen a girl I used to meet in gigs/discos a few years ago and I've tried to hide but, finally, I've run into her in the cash desk and I've had to talk to her... :dozey:
