does no harm to your pc :D It just puts on the website what do you listen to.. so then you will have neighbours (people with the same taste as you) and you can listen to people´s radios...

  • 1 month later...

well it keeps getting so popular they keep having to switch servers and stuff so it takes them a long time to configure stuff and that and they sometimes have a few problems but no fear it all works itself out in a couple of days. i love my audioscrobbler!!!!!

How long does it take before my Top Artists/Songs lists are updated?

These lists are calculated every few songs, depending on the size of your profile:

Profile Size New songs needed to trigger update

less than 50 5

50 to 100 10

100 to 1500 15

1500 to 3000 20

3000 to 5000 50

5000 to 10000 100

more than 10000 150

yah i saw that but i don't really get what it means. and like i've listened to many many tracks but it says tracks listened to 0

how long have you had it? cause if you just have installed it usually takes a week or so maybe 2 to get settled

hmm maybe only one week. so i guess that's it.

most likely, cause a couple of weeks ago i got my friend to get it but he has two computers a laptop thats a mac and a pc and using it on both was messing it up i think so hes only using on his mac, but now it's finally gving him stats it took about 2 weeks though.

but check it at the end of tomorrow, cause they usually update everything on sundays so if it's gonna happen this week it'll be tomorrow

thanks for the useful help.

:)

no problem, i think everyone should use audioscrobbler i love it, it has reorganized my life  not really but kinda just makes me have to not have to keep making continuous lists of artists over and over again this way i can have it all together and see if i'm neglecting some and i love the last fm feature. good stuff all around. i was excited when it awarded me with neighbors!!

K lil bump,,, but I added everyone who posted his audioscrobbler as a friend...

its a server that records all the music you listen to via your pc.. (thru various plug ins) and then matches you up with people who listen to similar taste in music as you.. well, not really 'matches' you but you get info on new bands you might like based on the surveys created by other users.. its how I discovered Bloc Party.. :) its pretty cool.. you get to see what others are listening to.. if you're into that kind of thing.. I live for musis so, :embarrased:
