This is the best suspense movie that I've ever seen. The only thing that compares to it is Memento. What do you people think of it?

Both of them are outstanding. The Usual Suspects and Memento both have the best plot twists I've ever seen.

I liked Usual Suspects sooo much more than Memento.

Memento was good but too many twists but love Guy Pierce great actor!!!

I thought that Memento was incredibly original and it actually required the audience to think, which is a great thing for a movie.

 

The Usual Suspects was great, but Memento left a better impression on me b/c of it's creativity. :)

Frailty is another good movie like The Usual Suspects. Memento, and THe Usual Suspects are the only two movies I can watch again and again, every time I pick up something new from the story.

 

Like in Memento, I figured out that in the scene when they show Sammy in the mental institution, when the nurse walks by, it shows the main character instead of Sammy.

That's what i love about Memento. You watch it the first time and you're completely confused..then you watch it again and you notice something significant, and then you watch again and notice something else.. it's like it always has something new to show and that's why i love it.

It sure is!! :D My friends didn't like it though..they thought it was dumb..i just think they were too dumb to get it.. :lol: When i came on this board, i would mention it and someone actually had to say something about it...intelligent Coldplay listeners.. :D

yea. Not a lot of people I know liked it. That movie should have won the academy award it was nominated for. Best Original Screenplay!

I agree...some of the best movies are always overlooked at the Oscars...but what could you do? :shrug:

Yea. It was bound to happen sometime, U2 being nominated, I hope they win. I'm gonna be pissed if Eminem wins an academy award.

That would bother me..but i doubt the academy will give it to him.... they're a bunch of elderly people who would much rather give it to U2... i told them so...hehehe :D

heh yea. The actor from Memento, Guy Pearce, should be in more movies. He was brilliant in that one.

Of course. Guy Pearce was good in that one too. He was also good in The COunt Of Monte Cristo.

Haven't seen that!! I was supposed to see it, but then my friends watched 40 days and 40 nights instead.. :roll:
