sega genesis because out of all the consoles i've owned or had access to (ie. sibling or roommate had it) it's the only one i still play on a regular basis. so it's my personal favorite.

i still think PS one rocks. i think it's the console that really upped the standards. nintendo could barely keep up. even though i did buy a shitty n64 which i totally regret cause i barely ever used it, PS one has had the most awesome variety in games and good prices too.

I'd say the Neo Geo. It was awesome.

 

But the most original games were available for the SEGA consoles. Like NiGHTS into dreams or stuff like that. I always thought the games for the PSX was mainstream (sequels and prequels and what not) and the games for the Nintendo consoles were games for kids. I'm a SEGA freak. Always was. And Sonic's cooler than Mario :P
