As the topic express, let's talk about singers and/or bands which voice is terrible or different from what you heard in their songs

 

I'll start with Gwen Steffani, I just saw a concert of her (in tv of course) and her voice was completely different from the one is in her records, I mean not even as good as I would expect from a proffesional.

 

 

So tell you.

I can't think of anyone.....

Actually most people I've seen live sound even better than they do on their albums!

Real bands often have good singers - it's the trash in the charts that have crap singers, but i guess you all know that anyway, being on a coldplay forum :cool:. I'll never forget the first time i heard sugababes sing a song life and they were [censored] awful !

Most of the shows that I go to, the vocals are pretty close to the recorded ones.

Maybe cause they... eh (do like Ashlee Simpson did)?

I like rock music, I only go to rock concerts, they don't lipsynch, or lip-play their instruments, that is just sad.

Yeah, haven't seen a rock band who does that yet.

Yah, Britney's 'live' stuff sounds like its straight from the cd. Although a lot of pop music uses background voices from the cd during concerts, it just sounds better.

 

I haven't seen a Britney concert though, so I can't really say.

you know i saw the doves on jay leno here in the states and i've gotta say i didn't enjoy the lead singer's live voice as much as I did on the album, not that it was bad, just didn't sound the same to me. the song was black and white town. but maybe it's just me cause my brother swears up and down that he sounds the same

i`d say brandon aswell, i mean they were ok when i saw them but when i watched their V performance it wasnt all that good

His voice was completely out shone by the music when I saw them and he just sounded like a whailing granny, to put things bluntly :stunned: :/

I still love them though :cool:
