There is currently a case going to court about this for both rougue dailers and these calls, if the case goes agaist BT. They are buggerd as all the money their customers have been chargerd will have to be refunded... and also aother telephone compaines too whoese customers have been charged too. It will cost the industry millions ! Its being agured that BT have been a party to the action in a 'Fradutently activity' !

It might be useful to contact BT and ask for anymous call rejection

then type in on your phone *227# (It will cost you a tenner for 3 months though of which I think is very unfair)

This will then reject calls, who with hold their numbers.

 

If its u know who it should be on your line already for free

just type in *227#

 

but you will have to tell your friends who call with private numbers to type in 1470 before they call or otherwise they wont be able to get though !
