June 30, 200520 yr Apparently no act will do more than 4 songs. Here's my guess:- What If Bittersweet Symphony (With Richard Ashcroft) Clocks Fix You What does everyone else reckon it'll be?
July 1, 200520 yr I should think that "Square One" would be a given considering its subject matter, though "Politik" would probably do the job almost as well. "What If" could also be possible, though they'd probably also require an old standard to better please the crowd; "Don't Panic" or "Trouble", perhaps.
July 1, 200520 yr I think that Politik will DEFINATLY be on there. Fix You as well and I also think Twisted Logic would be appriate. But I really, REALLY hope they do A Rush of Blood, because I think that would be strangly fitting. Don't Panic would be nice too, but they only have room for three or four songs so... Politik A Rush of Blood Bitter Sweet Symphony Fix You
July 1, 200520 yr :( Politik should have been played, Clocks would have been nice as well... only 3 songs though
July 1, 200520 yr Life is for living would be nice too. Life is for Living??!I can't believe I still get mixed up with this title and "Don't Panic",I meant Don't Panic.
July 1, 200520 yr http://www.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,30000-13380006,00.html LIVE 8 SET LIST: REVEALED A rough version of the set list for the Hyde Park Live 8 gig has apparently been leaked to the press. The Sun newspaper claims to have got its hands on the detailed rundown of artists and the songs they will be performing: 3) Coldplay - In My Place, Fix You. Coldplay will then team up with Richard Ashcroft to perform a duet of Bitter Sweet Symphony
July 3, 200520 yr they must played 3 songs as most bands did, and the song with richard (the verve). politik or square one, spies or arobtth, and twisted logic or talk, you know the political songs. :idea2:
