What song was chris quoting.

Featured Replies

Wich song was chris quoting when he was singin ( In my place ):

"I like it, i like it , i like lalala like it everybody rockin' all over the world",

Er Status Quo i think :/ im not a big fan of theirs!

I think he chose it because it was the opening song of the live aid 20 years ago, so ... I think it was a great quote :)

And also i think it was because Bob said no to S.Q playing at L8

good question. That would have been the best song to open with. Would have been a lot more literal this time as well given the fact it genuinely was all over the world!!

there was a campaign in a national newpaper to get status quo to play at live8, but it didnt happen, and chris being chris, he decided to sing a bit!

Great story, I didn't know that! Now that makes this part of the song even better

Why didnt bob want them there?!! that would of been great

Its terrible that Bob put himself and his own opinions above everyone else's (C'mon. who DIDNT want to see the Quo play?) especially as the point was trying to get the event as popular as possible, and he decided not to do this by leaving out Status Quo.

i agree completely i mean obviously chris had to be the real man and step in there and get their stuff in there the only way he could i guess....
