Ich habe drei Tage Uni für Muse geschwänzt. :uhoh:

lol ja, die gute uni... das war ja auch ein drama anfang des jahres. es kam die laaangersehnte travis-deutschlandtour - am 5.2. in hamburg. und was ist?! sarah hat genau an DEM tag eine klausur! :o und das auch noch von 16 bis 18 uhr... oh man, ich wäre ja fast ausgerastet! ... naja, jedenfalls, ich schon das halbe semester am planen gewesen, das ich mir morgens die krankmeldung holen muss, die dann zur uni bringe und ich dann lieber direkt den ICE nach HH nehme und so weiter und so fort... :laugh3: nun ja, aber gott sei dank gab es dann ein paar wochen vor der klausur plötzlich noch einen zweiten termin eine woche früher - somit hab ich mir den ganzen stress doch noch erspart, ich hätte mich aber definitiv krankschreiben lassen xD :wink3:

Yep, National Football League Of Europe.

It was some sort of offshoot of the NFL who also put money into the NFLE.

They sent rookie/players who didn't make the draft to Europe to get some practice.

We've had 8 teams (I think it was 8) over here in Europe, 4 of them in Germany. There was the Sea Devils in Hamburg and I really loved going to the games.

 

They stopped the league some 3 - 4 years ago as the NFL was tight with money and the attendance didn't meet the expectations of the officials :(

 

The games were even broadcasted to the US on Saturdays at around noon ;)

It was funny when the guy with the red glove came onto the field because there was a commercial break in the US so they interrupted the game :laugh3:

Though at some point it got a little annoying ;)

Die drei Konzerte dieses Jahr haben mir einfach wahnsinnig viel Spaß gemacht und ich würde auch einiges tun, um wieder hinzugehen. :wink3:

ja... ich hab ja jetzt schonwieder panik, weil ich ja anfang des jahres sechs wochen im praktikum bin... wer weiß, was da noch alles kommt... :uhoh: :laugh3:

oh man, es ist schon alles verrückt. so denke ich aber auch nur bei travis und coldplay, heh. und da beide bands nicht sonderlich regelmäßig touren, beeinträchtigt es mein geregeltes leben nicht so sehr :lol:

Sorry to hear that they stopped the league - I would imagine it was disappointing.. It's difficult to start a new venue anywhere, and football here started out on pretty shaky ground when it began as well..

And I missed the broadcasts too! Where was I?? That would have been interesting to see!

:laugh3:Yes, I can imagine - for a commercial break - must have been quite odd to see that. True - after a while, it would get like that - to stop everything just for a commercial - I can't recall what they do here.. (I went to some exhibition games here, but can't recall anything stopping for commercials. Usually the commercial breaks were during time-outs and such..)
