Well i don't know about any of you people but theres a growing canadian band called the trews and well i think they may be one of the best up and coming canadian bands. what are your thoughts?

I haven't heard a whole lot by them, but I've really liked what I've heard.

hey i know this is not a popular band worldwide but are pretty popular in eastern canada. i just want to give them some more exposure. their 3rd album is coming out next week so if anyone would like a little trews flavour just leave a message here and ill upload it. also next week ill upload their new album

I didn't even know the new album was out so soon.

I listened to their second album there the other night. THey're pretty awesome.

OoOo! I love the Trews has anyone heard their new song "Hold Me In Your Arms" it hasn't left my CD player since it came out! I haven't done that with a record since probably Coldbplay! <333

I agree. i dont think they sounds like anyone. Their Albums are in the other bands thread.

I'd say they have a touch of CCR, R.E.M., AC/DC, etc.....more classic rock than anything else.

alright. i can see that one. i never would have thought about it but i can see it.

They do sound very Nova Scotian though......same with Joel Plaskett...theres just something about their sound.....
