July 30, 200520 yr So far, we have 'Speed Of Sound' and 'Fix You'. I'm guessing there'll be 4 singles, and I put my money on 'Talk' and 'White Shadows' next.

July 30, 200520 yr I hope the singles will be 1 Speed Of Sound 2 Fix You 3 A Message 4 Talk (But then I also love Low and White Shadows so I not really sure :lol: ) I also like What If but I don't think they will release 2 ballad type songs off the album (the other being Fix You) I dunno, there's just too many good songs that are single material on this album! :lol:
July 30, 200520 yr Considering that the majority of Coldplay songs fall closer to balladry, it's quite safe to say a second ballad will be released; it'd be stupid not to. As I've said before, I don't see the band marketing "Talk", as it's not even an entirely original work, and "Square One" would not be very radio friendly(though neither is "Fix You", so I suppose that's not a prerequisite for them), and "Swallowed in the Sea" follows the same formula as "Fix You", so I don't see that happening, either. I'd bet money that "White Shadows" will be the third, with "What If" closing things out.("A Message" ought to make the cut, and given the abundance of material, they could get away with it being fifth.)

July 31, 200520 yr Why not 5 or 6 singles? There are enough great songs on the album. -Speed of Sound -Fix You then: -Talk -White Shadows -A message -What if (Square One is great song too, but is like Politik).
