Am I the only one which have "The Hardest Part" as one of my favourites on the new album?? Have read many threads and it seems that many don't like the song very much, What do you think?

I like the song very much. it was one of those that immediately stuck in my head when I listened to x&y for the first time. :)

I love it too! It sounds so "ordinary" but on the other hand special... I think one of my favourite ones on the new record.

The hardest part

 

The first time I heard the XY album, "the hardest part" was not my favourite song. It was 'what if'.

And after having listened all the album twice, I was found of "The hardest part" ... It remembers me an episod of myv own life...

The music is simple but wonderful... It's my favourite of the album..

Maybe tomorrow it wiil change because I'll discover an other song of the album.

I like this song from its begining, the smooth sound of the piano... cool!!!

This song is perfect for me right now.

 

The only problem with it is that's it's just not sad enough. It's too upbeat to contain such sad lyrics... It should be more Warning Sign-ish IMO.
