Just wondering if "Fix You" will be Coldplay's first ever NUMBER #1 hit?

Album-wise, all 3 have reached #1. Singles-wise, not yet. In My Place and Speed Of Sound peaked at #2. Fix You will change all that! :)

well... almost all coldplay songs got no.1 here in Israel, but i'm actually not so sure about fix you... and speed of sound was no.2 in Brittian because of the crazy frog right??

 

clocks was no.1 here a really long time- so were the scientist and SoS

gpasoyf didn't do too well :/

:stunned: there's a lot of competition.

A lot of those songs released on the same day are IMO crap, you get some lovely gems coming though but those normally are by bands who are newbies and charts out of the top 40.

 

Kill da Crazy Frog

Coldplay can easily beat all those! They are easily the biggest band on there and Fix you has had so much more airtime!

 

Barring any strong competition from other singles the week before ( A no 1 hanging on) or a sudden hype over one of the songs Coldplay could get thier number 1 :lol:
