Well.. I hate getting in to an argument about if this war is a good or bad decision.. it's like arguing over abortion. Everyone has their own opinion and that's that... BUT...

 

I do have to say, even though no war is good war.. wasnt it nice watching all of the Iraq people jumping for joy in the streets? It was like they had so much happiness to let out.. If a war can make that many people happy, I'd say it can't be such a bad thing. Eh? :shrug:

Yes many lives were lost.. it is very sad, and I hate to say it because I'm very lucky not to know anyone who has died, but it's for a good cause, just like all of our ancestors who died in wars for our country. If it weren't for them maybe we wouldnt be as lucky?

And I've seen them rejoicing all day today on tv. Turn on CNN.. it's on their like crazy. I've seen the Iraq people dancing in the streets, burning down symbols of Saddam, tearing down his statues, etc... I saw one guy yelling out "Go George Bush, No more Saddam!"

I know war is bad, but seeing that today made me feel better about everything.

I agree.. it's sad that so many lives have to be lost over this... but what about the lives that would be lost if Saddam used the chemical weapons he was making over the US?
