Since a few weeks I listen to German music more often than before. I don't know why, but I always find new musicians and bands, especially on the radio. :nice:

Yep....I agree there......since some weeks they play more german music on the radio...good german music....like for example this Pohlmann song..I also like Chicago by clueso...songs like that...they are cool...

Clueso's "Chicago" is the overall top track at my last.fm list. ;) I really like this song so much.

 

I agree, radio stations play more German songs and because of that good bands like "Trashmonkeys" or "Gods Of Blitz" get more attention. :)

 

First I dislike Mia. and their song "Tanz der Moleküle" but I had to buy it at iTunes one week ago. I really like the female singer called "Mieze" lol. :D She's crazy but cool!

 

Personally, one of the best German songs at the moment is a song called "Die Stadt" written by Klee. :nice:

I saw Bosse on TV some days ago...they also were really cool...

 

hehe...it#s strange..it feels as if they came out of a hole really sudden these days...

I know Bosse, because my local radio station often played "Niemand vermisst uns" in the past. :) Next month Madsen will release their new album. :nice: I'm excited about it.

 

Maybe the World Cup is responsible for the new wave of German music playing on the radio. :D

I listened to some 'echt' songs today, haha... :nice: somehow I still like them, their music wasn't bad. pity they split...

Hehe Echt... what a time! :D All the girls in my class loved the singer of this band. It was awful! But I agree... some songs aren't that bad! ;)

 

I just found an old song of Mia. It's called "Alles Neu" and it's really crazy! :D But I like it!

mhh ... i started becoming aware of german music a week ago.

i never really liked it somehow because it is SO HARD to write lyrics that don't sound cheesy or ... old fashioned.

 

i watched that "die 10" show yesterday and it was about teeniebands. haha.

echt was mentioned and they played some of their songs and i recognised that they've got AWESOME tracks!

especially 'Sag Mal Weinst Du?', 'Wo Bist Du Jetzt?', 'Du Trägst Keine Liebe In Dir' and of course 'Junimond' (although it ain't one of their own songs).

yeah, Kim Frank (singer of tha band) is a cute guy indeed! :)

 

 

'Chicago' by Cluesa isn't bad either. although i don't really like his kinda music, but that song is pretty good.

 

Mia. is pretty okay. did you know that Sarah Kuttner introduced the band members to each other? hehe ... yes, you can read it on www.wikipedia.de ;)

their current song is alright, but i like 'Hungriges Herz' more.

 

Sportfreunde Stiller are the best. hehe... i do like their stuff. especially 'Siehst Du Das Genauso?' is an amazing song.

Yeah, "Hungriges Herz" is my favourite song of Mia. They performed this song in the German Eurovision Song Contest show two or three years ago, right?

Yeah, personally die Ärzte are one of the best bands! I really like their music. Now singer Farin Urlaub and drummer Bela B. are going their own ways but I really hope they will create new songs in the future.
