Ticket Troubles

Featured Replies

Phone your credit card company - you can usually cancel within 24 hours (I think).
Thanx but do i just give the website name when i contact them?

Say you've been informed the site is fraudulent and you want to stop the payment.

You can offer the proof if needed.

Well i'm goin so don't give a toss what most of you think :) youv'e more chance of winning the lottery than gettin a ticket for £30 :)

thats bollocks, earls court shows ALWAYS release extra tickets, even U2 in 2000, and madonna last year released extra tickets randomally from time to time.

if that fails, touts who bought to sell on ebay, will have too many to shift come the week of the gig, so theres a good chance you'll be able to pick up a few off there face value.

i got two tickets to see beck a week before the show, for 99p, they were £30 each when they went on sale.

Maybe, but you can't compare Beck to U2 or Coldplay!! :D

Thanx 4 all ye advice! You can tell i aint never done this b4 can't you!Oh well if i lose me money its taught me an hard lesson when it comes to buyimg tickets

I would never risk using one of these dodgy websites. You're better off with Ebay, as there are controls on there.........................................

If they take my money out i'll track them scum bags down that's for sure

All sing now:

"I never meant to cause you ticket trouble,

I never meant to do you wrong........................" :D

Well when i put £70 down the drain into perspective with what is happening in the world it does make me feel a little better.Only a little mind you :)

Did you phone your credit card company?

Yes + they are going to do everthing poss to stop this transaction.I've tried contacting Getmetickets.net but it's like flogging a dead horse but here's hoping.Thanx for your advice.

Well "getmetickets" might just be a front for a bunch of crims, so they're very unlikely to answer!!

Hope you're successful, anyway - come back and let us know what happens, as it could be of help to other peeps.

Will do that but are there any ticket sites with good reputations?Any help would be greatful.
